Haven't seen most of the 2nd half, but I've seen the jumpball gif. Looked like a clear jump ball in the gif. I'll watch it when I get off.
Fuckin haters.

Need to see the other side, but from that view all I can say is I'm pretty sure to be part of a jump ball the ball can't be on the other side of someone's body with you reaching in and still not touching it.
also wtf @ you not watching, that was a hell of a game
probably wouldn't have been much of one if Ware had been there honestly, but it was thoroughly entertaining, kind of wish I'd gone
I was needed at work. Stroke patients don't break for the final four.

It was a terribly officiated game. They called UL tight for the first ten minutes of second half and then swallowed their whistle the last ten minutes when UL only had two fouls called. Yet they were hacking at anyone entering the lane.
Watching the game now. Wichita was in the double bonus near the entire second half. Refs took Dieng completely out of the game.
If that jumpball isn't a jumpball, then it's a travel. Either way...
even on the one where it looks like he at least had a hand on the ball, he was very clearly reaching in and hit his chest at the same time as he hit the ball
Oh give me a break. Now you're reaching. The ball was Louisvilles either way. The call was fine. You want to botch about the double foul, fine, but I'm watching Wichita sitting in a double bonus right now with over 12:00 left. Louisville ain't even the bonus. Wichita allowed 47 points in the second half. They lost as a result.
And just an FYI, a reach in by itself isn't a foul. Barker brought the ball to his chest when Hancock went in for the grab. That's not a foul.
you're missing a major factor which is that a charge becomes a block the instant you reach in
beyond the fact that it's a foul to block someone's path while reaching in on them, calling a jump ball from an instant of shared contact when one guy clearly has control and wins the ball immediately is just absurd, especially in that situation
ref got excited thinking he had a chance to make an omg amaaaaazing call and completely blew the game instead
Well thanks for that nugget. I'm ever so thankful for letting Dieng play the last 3 minutes after putting him on the bench for 15.
OMG LOUISVILLE HAD 3 MORE FOULS THAN WSU RIGGED
but bitching about reffing is dumb btw, still gotta play the game
but omg the reffing was so bad
in seriousness, it was a good game, the reffing was equally terrible the whole way, it was like they'd make a terrible call and then a makeup call just over and over and over again... but they completely blew it at the end, who knows what would have happened otherwise
"A reach in and a charge is a foul even without contact." -Plow
"contact isn't contact when my head is intentionally shoved too far up my ass to see anything" - tyche
Keep throwing shit to the wall, something will stick eventually. I'm going to bed, I have another 12 to wake up to.
