Audio Goes Staticy After Prolonged Computer Use Halp

Well recently I've been having this issue with my computer that my audio on all games will go slightly staticy and do a micro skip and resume every so often. I've noticed that this issue is normally fixed with a restart and doesnt really occur until the next day to where I can restart and fix it again.

I'm not sure if this is my CPU, Motherboard, or Audio Drivers (or something completely different) doing an issue like this. I noticed I didn't have this issue until I tried streaming Starcraft 2 on highest settings with a very slow compression rate via xsplit, which made my CPU usage spike to around 99% a few times until I turned it down from 720p to 480p. which made it run much smoother.

Now this could be a coincidence but that's when I started noticing it, so I felt it was neccesary. I've tried a different headset as well so it definitely isn't the head set. Which I kind of ruled out since a restart would fix it however I wanted to be certain as well. Anyone know what kind of issue this is and if there is anyway to permanently fix it? Could it be something with my CPU Caching? Thanks!

edit: Also as a frame of reference I notice it start to act up on things I consider pretty cpu intensive, which is emulating wii/gcn and sc2 on max settings (which i dont think that is that bad unless its a big battle?)

Are you plugging your headset into your computer via USB? Give us your specs, your HDD could be acting up too.

    CPU: I7 3770
    CPU Cooler: Corsair HX80
    MOBO: P8Z77 Asus
Ram: 16 GB Corsair 1600 (running at 1333 though had too many issues when putting em to 1600)
    GPU: GTX 570
    HDD: 1 TB Western Digital.

The way my audio is set up is that I had a mini hdmi to hdmi going into my tv. From there I plug my headset into my TV from the back and there is a USB and mic component that goes into the computer. This way if I change the TV input it'll change the audio rather than my audio being only on the computer.

I've tried this while unplugging the audio headset from the TV so it's just the TV i've also tried plugging in directly into speaker with a different headset, still the same issue. It makes me think its more so a component issue when its fixed by a reset of my computer, makes me wonder if it's a CPU issue with cache not reseting? Or maybe something to that extent. I really dont understand cache other than the fact it stores data so it's accessed more quickly another time, just wondering if it doesn't properly refresh cache if it could be causing something like this or if I'm just putting bullshit together that doesn't make sense. Like I said just an uneducated guess.

Anyways thanks again for inquiring really appreciate the help!
