4 day passes sold out within 15 minutes of them going on sale. 5 and 1/2 hours after they went up, completely sold out.

I'm going to miss this convention. Not even going to make an effort to go back until they change their venue. (Which is going to be tough to do unless they move out of Seattle) This is pretty ridiculous.

PAX usually blindsides people with the reg announcement. It hasn't been selling out in < 30 minutes up until about last year though.

Last year it was ~6 hours for 3-day and about 3 days or so for individuals.
This year it was 15 minutes for 4-day and about 6 hours for individuals.
The best part is that PA didn't even announce registration was live on FB until after the 4-days had sold out.

They have never once pre-announced ticket sales. It's always up to people refreshing the pax main page and following the pax official twitter. They never even mentioned it today on the primary p-a website. Originally Posted by Mazmaz

Yeah, the twitter announcement while I was working the phones did not help at all. Only managed to snag the Monday passes for myself and my friends. Every year it's getting more and more ridiculous to get the event long passes. Last year we barely got our 3 days because one of us just happened to check their twitter a minute after the passes were up.
And the last 3 years I think they've used a different ticket provider every year? They just can't seem to get it right.

Friends and I were planning to go Saturday, but none of us were able to get tickets. I was in class at the time of the sales.
