Showing more then 1 account on Windows 7 log screen
Ok i just don't know how to put it on google so here goes
Tomorrow I'm going to format a laptop for a client (she is currently on windows XP) she will be on windows 7
That client brings the laptop to home and to work, and put a lot of shit there (mostly at home). Since i don't want her to invade work with Virus, i want to configure her 2 accounts on her laptop 1 local (for home) 1 Domain (for work)
If i create 2-3 local account all the accounts shows on the Welcome login screen in windows 7, but the problem is when i add the PC to the domain It will only show her the latest account she logged on.
So instead of always making her write like pcname\account name or domain\account name manually each time. I want to add to the welcome login screen 2 icons 1 that says pcname\username and 1 that says domain\username. So that if she is home she click the pcname\username and domain\username if she's at work.
Any easy way to do this?

I've made registry changes to hide users, but never to show them, so I can't say I've tried this. I don't know if this will work with domain accounts, but hopefully it gives you a good starting point.
How to make Windows 7 show user list on login screen, not just the last logged on user

If it has been joined to a domain you cannot do this, I don't even think a registry hack or GPO can force it.
The reason for this is having account names listed on a domain joined PC is a security risk. If you could enable multiple accounts to show at the logon screen it would include all local accounts and some of them would be domain accounts, possibly including domain admin if it ever logged on locally to that box.

If it makes more palatable, keep in mind that you don't need to type the machine name for a local user, just a period (so .\localuser for example).
Not all malware is confined to single accounts either.

You should even be able to omit the .\ and it should still jump to the local user instead of domain. Happens to me all the time when I try to log onto machines as (domain-)Administrator when the local admin account is enabled...
And as xopher said, not possible. Only thing that might work is to leave the laptop outside of domain and just create a local account that has the same name and PW as her domain user. That would allow network drives etc (via local logon script) without password prompts, but would circumvent other domain stuff like GPO. So depending on how strict the admins are that's probably also not an option.

I found a way went into gpedit and in interactive, disabled to remember last username
That made it pop the windows XP screen aka username password and log on to.
Thanks all

Didn't know that was an option for you or I would have pointed you toward that. Figured you wanted the clickable account icons
