Has there been any changes to old spells? By that I mean; which old spells did RUN and GEO get added to? The only lists I can find are of new spells.

How do people force the file check? I've renamed one file: no problems found. I've renamed one entire folder: "no problems found". I'm moving two folders to my desktop now, and seeing if that works.

I am crunching some numbers on relics now cuz I was worried. The new greatsword with high base dmg doesnt touch Ragnarok(even if you add some extra stats like in the video...whew). Pak body+1 doesnt replace both Valk/Armada but may replace each piece individually if both Valk and Armada arent owned.


Looks like Mnk has a new weapon though. I am seeing Tlalpoloani beats vere and spharai.
Anyone confirm?

I think the main concern is if you can get something that is comparable relatively easy. Like if hauby +1 was 300mil and then they introducednq for 200k. Still somewhat invalidates the old

I moved two 50MB folders to my desktop, and it says there were no problems found. What the fucking fuck?!?

Make sure that when you start the file check, you're checking Final Fantasy XI. The default file check option is for Playonline, which would never have any issues. You'll know if you're checking the right thing if it searches through ~40,000 files.

Think you have to actually delete a file for it to notice that something is wrong. Not 100% sure though

Delete any file thats updated every update like VTABLE.DAT, best time to check if can force is when patch notes goes up on OF.

yesterday's JP live stream revealed that there will be a patch for relic weapons (forgot if emp and mythic is included)

BUT the patch will not be any form of "enhancing" them

so idk wtf the future patch is for...
