Wasn't as bad as A.J.'s glove work made it look, was still a bad call though.

The Los Angeles Angels placed ace Jered Weaver on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday with a fractured elbow on his non-throwing arm.

The Angels said Weaver is expected to miss at least four weeks due to the injury, which the team termed a left non-displaced radial head fracture. The disabled-list move is retroactive to April 8.

Weaver, 30, suffered the injury Sunday against the Rangers, jamming his non-throwing arm while dodging a line drive off the bat of Mitch Moreland to start the sixth inning.

"Pretty painful. It feels a little swollen in there," Weaver said after Sunday's game. "I can't move it around too good right now. It's strange. Kind of like jamming your thumb."

The pitcher rolled over and immediately grabbed his arm near the elbow. Manager Mike Scioscia and a trainer quickly were on the field. X-rays were negative.

"I tried to catch myself and saw the ball coming at me. I didn't land right on it. Definitely, hyperextended it or something," Weaver said Sunday. "I kind of landed on my glove and I pushed to get out of the way. I landed in an awkward position."
    Fuck...

I've been thinking about coming back to baseball.. I have been mad at it for so long. I feel like I want to watch some games this year.

    Ruben Amaro on Delmon Young:

“He’s running the bases,” Amaro said. “He hasn’t had to run the bases a lot because he hasn’t been getting on all that much."
Have I mentioned that this guy was signed to be our starting RF.............

Jays lost again. That was a great catch by Kelly to rob Arencibia of a HR.

Yeah it's pretty lax. Just glad it's lax because the offense outside of Freeman (who's DL'd), Gettis, and J Up is pretty terribad.

Dan Uggla at .192 is one of the better hitters compared to Heyward (.083) and BJ (.103)

O's down by one in the top of the ninth with two out - Chris Davis whacks a HR, Flaherty gets his first hit of the season, pitcher walks two, fucks up again to tie the game, then Machado hits a three-run HR.

    That's Orioles magic right there.

Funny how BJ is getting all of the slump attention (although he has struck out a shitton) even though Heyward has been just as bad.

Really happy about Gattis and Simmons, hopefully they can keep doing work until Freddie is back and BJ/Heyward get going. Also Maholm/Minor look great so far.
