Went to the Yankee game yesterday afternoon, got to see CC throw a CG with like 10 or so strikeouts. When I found out he was pitching I got really excited, and to see him go 9 was great. Haven't had that opportunity before. Perfect day for a 1pm game too. Tailgated on top of a parking garage and got some sun, the only bad part was we got stuck in Harlem for a bit so we didn't go in until the 2nd inning (had to finish beer/subs first).

Sucks that Stras is on DL, I try to catch nats games on tv when he's pitching. I'm not big into Harper but the two of them are great to watch. And damnit bregs I like wilbon.

I wanted the Nats to fail, partly because all the bandwagon fans are annoying, and partly because the whole shutting down Stras thing last year was fucking retarded.

But now all the "old baseball" people talking about how you have to "earn respect" and "earn trips to the playoffs" with their Nats schadenfreude are even more annoying. When Michael Wilbon said something about how Stras and Harper being out "really hurts the '27 Yankees" I wanted him to die of gonorrhea and rot in hell.
