Davis is a streaky hitter. His last few games he's been coming back around but he's definitely hitting well above his norms average wise.

entire team is in a slump, they will prob come out of it including him but depending on your line up i'd make the trade.
Yeah the main thing that held me back is the biogenesis situation as I had Braun and I have Nelson Cruz. My outfield still consists of Carlos Gomez, Bryce Harper, Mark Trumbo, Starling Marte, Norichika Aoki, and Carlos Quentin who I picked up to replace Braun.
If Davis slumps much more, Miggy is going to win his 2nd straight triple crown. They're tied in RBI with 99 (Encarnacion is a distant 3rd with 84), he has a 30 point lead in batting average at .359 (Mike Trout is 2nd at .329, although still with more fWAR than Miggy again) and he's 6 homers behind Davis, 38 to 32, with Edwin 3 back at 29.
Miggy is one of the greatest rh hitters of all time
certainly of our generation
lol, his OPS is 122 points higher than last season...wtf

CHICAGO -- On Thursday night, the Cubs officially announced the signing of Dominican outfielder Eloy Jimenez, the top-ranked international prospect, according to MLB.com.
Jimenez signed for $2.8 million and a college bonus, which MLB.com first reported in early July.
"It's my dream to be a Major League Baseball player, but I don't want to just get there," Jimenez told MLB.com in June. "I want to be one of the best players in the game and to ever come from the Dominican Republic."
The 16-year-old outfielder is considered the crown jewel of this year's international class because of his 6-foot-4, 198-pound frame and multiple tools.
He has plus-speed and gap-to-gap power and is an advanced hitter for his age. Defensively, he's sound with a strong arm and projects as a corner outfielder.
Although Jimenez played for the RBI program in the Dominican Republic and for the International Prospect League, he lacks in-game experience and should continue to grow once he reports to the Cubs' academy.

Eh, homering here but not gonna happen. Davis hit #39 last night and his "slump" hasn't been nearly as bad as I had expected it would be. He's still getting hits and keeping pace overall, just way too many Ks and some deep flyouts that had been HRs. He's starting to come out of the woods a tiny bit, but we'll see.
I hope he keeps pace. I still giggle that I sniped him in the 15th round of my money draft.
