One very interesting NY/BOS game. Girardi came out of the dugout screaming at the home plate ump when ARod was plunked and it looked like he almost hit him when he was swinging his arms. The interview with Joe after the game was fantastic. Dempster needs to miss a start, it absolutely is a travesty if he doesn't miss time. 4 straight pitches at ARod, what a piece of shit. So happy he ended up being the MVP of the game with a HR later off of Dempster a few rbi's and a few hits.

They brought it up on ESPN the other day but the whole idea of "lets hit Arod because he shouldn't be playing because of his appeal" is retarded, especially when pitchers appeal suspensions and hold off missing a start all the time when they hit batters. Well, you have to wonder if he was beaned more for ratting out other MLB players to make himself look better than anything else.

While I can't condone intentionally hitting a guy, A-Rod and MLB are both complicit in creating this circus atmosphere that will continue for the rest of the season and possibly (god forbid) into the postseason. I don't think this will be the last time this season he gets hit intentionally either.

Selig should have just manned up and banned A-Rod for life under the "best interests" clause like he probably wanted to do in the first place. What we have now is a situation where A-Rod still gets to play and MLB looks terrible and A-Rod might still get a reduced suspension after arbitration. There's no reason MLB shouldn't have gone all-in on this if they wanted to make an example of A-Rod.

It's clear A-Rod's just trolling everybody as much as he can at this point though. Selig, the fans, his own organization. Basically everyone but the guys he's playing with.

The ARod interview after the game was incredible. A reporter asked him if he thought Dempster should be suspended and Alex's eyes got real wide and he said I am the WRONG person to be asking about suspensions with a huge smile and laughed afterwards.
