I didn't care to properly document the exact pos since I figured you guys had already gotten around to it (really open spot), but according the the first post, no position is listed for Castle Oztroja.
I was running around doing Genkai/Rank 5 for mule when i ran across one of those Geo things on one of the corners of the square maps (the ones where Mee Deggi and Quu Domi spawn). I believe they are maps 5 and 6. Inclined to say six, since it has an altar room exit.
Probably worth taking a look.
The info is already available on the wiki under "Geomantic Reservoir". Looks like the first post stopped getting updated as things moved onto the wiki.
It was on the Geomancer page, but got moved, though they didn't leave a link to it on the job page; have to jump through a few hoops to find it if you don't remember the page name.
I see it now, nevermind!

I've a quick question that's not 100% GEO related; is Spellcast broken for GEO? I can't get my GEO spellcast .xml to load at all.
Indi-Percision Testing
Credit to Motenten for calculating(and explaining) my IG testing!
At capped skill it appears to be +51. It can break into the +50s, which means that with more skill gear it can go higher!
Motenten says he'll see if he can get a couple more data points at lower GEO skill in order to get the scaling rate.
A followup I wanted to confirm on Barrier:
Barrier: +26/256 defense @ 345 skill (200 > 220)
Barrier: +26/256 defense @ 346 skill (200 > 220)
Barrier: +27/256 defense @ 347 skill (200 > 221)
This tells a couple things:
1) I didn't make a measurement error when I had a transition at 276-277 skill.
2) The scaling rate isn't +1/256 per 24 skill levels, but rather +1/256 per ~23.5 levels (or +2 per 47 levels).
So it was 23 skill from 277 to 300 for a +1, 24 skill from 300 to 324, then 23 skill from 324 to 347.
New estimated formula: (15 + floor((skill - 65) / 23.5)) / 256
Why an offset of 65? I dunno, but that's the point the slope hits. Obviously if anyone else can find any exact skill tiers, that would be helpful in confirming this.
Angon is 25% with AF2+2 hands.
Confirm 3/tick refresh at 360 total skill. 2/tick at 359 total skill.
Also confirm that the higher tier effect between Indi and Geo is used. Had a 2/tick luopan, and after hitting 360 skill made a 3/tick Indi, and was getting 3/tick back even when standing next to the luopan.
For people testing with Ballista/Brenner, know there is a damage reduction for everyone within the event. The 750 DMG is the standard 1000 Needles DMG if I remember correctly. If you want to test PDT, use a real cactaur. If you need to test BDT, use Balaur. You then need to find MDB by using QD within Ballista/Brenner (You will have to match the DMG to a player with the same MDB instead of calculations). Then you can use mob nukes to find the MDT.
Since Ballista damage (call it D*) is
D* = floor(D(1-D/4000))
GEO should have taken 500 from 1000 needles, but it took 437.
500(1-500/4000) = 437.5 --> 437 as expected.
The Luopan took 320 damage, so we have to work backwards.
D(1-D/4000) = 320 has a solution at 350, so the Luopan took about 350 damage pre-Ballista adjustment, which corresponds to ~-30% damage reduction.
Here the GEO took 549 damage, so it should have taken around 696 damage, which is pretty much what we'd expect from the frost breath formula (HP/3 + level/0.625 ---> 697 damage).
The Luopan took approximately 429, implying 488 damage pre-reduction.
(697-488)/697 ~ 30% reduction, so it did not see any unique reduction from the breath spell.
