Yeah, it's for RUN. Starting to smash my hopes that this is a non-harvest item... I hope not, a stack of Akaso (6 threads, 3 used for one cloth, one per item) in Yorcia is just... ugh.

Lovely. In my server it's the opposite, with all of the reives up, no one there, and yet somehow someone's stockpiling and selling akaso thread/cloth (and making a killing at 500k/thread and 3m/cloth, too!). I wonder if there's another place to get them that's not generally known.

Just a Note: I sent my Matre Bell to a mule just before i started the second AF quest. When I tried to start quest 2 she tried to sell me a new bell. 300k gil or 150k bayld. I said hang on and grabbed Matre Bell from delivery box and talked to her again and the quest 2 cutscene started. So you may need it in your possession to start this Despite havin the better Filiae Bell from the first quest.

She will talk about selling you a new bell but if you speak to her again she'll continue on to quest related banter.

Can't believe people are payin 3-5 mil on my server for the akasa threads. havent had a cloth sell yet but i cant wait to see what they pay for that. the last time i had checked there was only 1-2 threads sold for 200k each. think maybe some people just have way too much money.

if people are willing to pay 20 mil for ormolu and scarletite... cruor burns and haks. not to mention there is no effort to take the gil out of circulation

same here, one guy is selling threads for 5m a pop, with 11 threads on AH and no grass being sold.

Ok, I went to look and it seems I got the limit break quest first. (I'm a 70 GEO.) Should I go try it (I'd have to scrounge more gear; I got most of my old blm gear; some is cross compat, some isn't) or just get Geo to 99 first?

Also is there any strats for that fight? Some people on my ls said you have to do the break to actually do the AF. As it is I thought I'd ask before I lay down the gil for a second INT ring and find out where my black cape got to..

There's not really a strat. I went on an almost naked 99 geo and was able to just nuke it down pretty quickly. Shell helps because the ele casts fire spells only.

Gotcha nat. If you think it'd be doable at 70 with meds, I'll go reget my old blm gloves; I got them from the gnat and threw them out a long time ago (one of the few times I wasn't too packratty, but then you couldn't mule them then) and go fix Geo up.

With Critical Slice KI, Agrarian Boots, and a Trailblazing Sickle, I seem to be getting the best results.
