Stuff Borked - SoA 3/27/2013 (Clipper Questions Can Go Here, Too)

It becomes very annoying when trying to put stuff on moggle. I have to "/sc disable" before putting gear on moggle because it keeps equipping gear I'm trying to store after every slip.

Granted I can see why that would be annoying but surely there's very limited number of pieces which are in your idle set and storable? Or you could job change before storing it.

You could always set up an idle set that only activates in moogle porter zones and does not equip any pieces that are storable. I mean you'll always be in town so it isn't like you have to wear certain pieces for the bonuses.

You could just get rid of your idle rule and use an Idle macro. Or you can acheive most of the same functionality using aftercast instead of autoset anyway.

Not sure if it has been asked or not, but would there be a reason that Switchmon would not be working for v4 but is working for 3.x? For some reason, when using 3.x, I can change windows visually, but will be only able to control one character with the controller.

I am enjoying v4, but have had to revert to 3.x to use Switchmon.

Anyone have a fix for xi-util yet? It loads fine but my g-key macros are completely busted.

Spellcast is completely broken for me. Whenever I load it it gives me the following error:

SpellCast encountered a fatal error and must be terminated. Error: Access violation in initialize method.
SpellCast successfully unloaded.

This is with latest Windower version and Spellcast version. It is not Windower 4 Beta though, as I can't even get that to load on Windows 8.

Peeps I know using it everyday since the update to 3.4 hook and the new spellcast.dll for the 3.4 version weird. Something was going on when they targeted NPCS but haven't caused them much issue really..

Hey all,

Since we're getting a constant influx of PMs and emails from people, as well as people writing posts in threads that are just getting longer and messier by the minute, I wanted to re-enforce our issues tracker.

I'm sorry to say, but we really don't have time to keep going through all the PMs and emails which most of the time are the same problems, and we defiantly can't keep ontop of the constant threads posted, I am sorry but we're only human and we all have jobs and our own personal ingame careers.

Any issues that can't be fixed through discussing with other players, as in, actual problems with Windower, either 3.4 or 4.0, we ask that you please go to our issues tracker and create an issue as appropriate using our template.

Thank you all for your co-operation and support on Windower, we wouldn't be anything without you guys.

Huh.

I wrote Cupper and then I quit before the most recent update that broke everything, someone from FFEvo named NathanZ is taking over the maintenance of that project. At0m0s (aka Wiccaan), who wrote a bunch of the original speed/ja0wait/etc tools and contributed most of the March 27th update fixes for the current Cupper version (1.4.0.0), will apparently be writing his own tool which will probably have a bunch of cool new stuff in it (or maybe it won't I don't know).

Ugh. I'm seeing that apparently they think I "stole" from Wiccaan and that I posted an infected version of Clipper onto their forums. I am very disappointed. Anyway, guys, i am sorry to say that if Wiccaan really is just making Clipper himself, there is no point for me to continue. He is the reason I even started in the first place...

Yeah they are on windows 7 maybe try configuring windower to run in win 7 or lower compatibility mode?

Spellcast should be fixed for 3.4 now with the <st> issues. I didn't make any changes to fix it, just rebuilt it. I have no idea why it was crashing before.

So is that spellcast thing where it keeps trying to put me in idle gear every 2 seconds going to be fixed? Like if I'm talking to an NPC it keeps saying unable to switch gear. Also get spammed with that text when I'm encumbered or in salvage. It's really bad. What's causing it anyway? Also if I manually swap to PDTset while not engaged, it then puts me in idle gear 2 seconds later.
