hmm... I always went exp as /SAM, seigan third eye, if my life in danger, I full time Seigan
Parrying is quite often, of course, this happened coz of Seigan too.

If mobs hit accurately, I'll be using below cycle.

Seigan
Third Eye
Swing around 30sec
Third Eye
Hasso
Swing around 30sec

In between, have Foil, Phalanx, Stoneskin or anything, but prefer not to cast during Seigan.

Cooldown wouldn't be too horrible if it didn't decrease duration too. But getting 1 butf slightly stronger for a min or 2 every 10 seems kinda meh. Especially when you factor in the extra mp and time for extra recasting

With the adjustments to atk and def it may be best used on protect when solo or w/o a tect Ver. wonder how it would work with shell? Is there an MDB cap that includes shell? maybe could surpass supposed cap?

Shell doesn't give mdb. I completely forgot to check if it works with shell guess I'll try tonight. But yeah shell seems like the best use right now if only to let people use less mdt gear. Though if you can use the dmg resist wards your already killing dmg alot

Embolden is totally underhwleming for me tbh. The combination of the cooldown of the ability + the duration hit it causes leaves much to be desired. Built in downsides to abilities should only really occur in either stances (like hasso, seigan, composure, etc.) or very short cooldown abilities, neither of which applies to embolden.

Needs either a shorter cd or to lose the duration reduction.

Yeah, soling, on Protect, and otherwise, on Shell, that's the best uses for Embolden so far. Equipment that enhances it, or future modifications on the ja will be its chance to be actually useful. Extra Stoneskin before a battle can be nice too, not many things worth fighting do less than 525 damage in 2.5 minutes.

Embolden + Refresh = 4mp/tick, not impressed.

Agreed. Very disappointed with Embolden.
its probably only worth using with Protect and Shell, and i suppose Regen when you need more HP back in a short time.

but for its effect the recast timer does seem a little long.

RUN/SAM seems to work very well. Seigan+3rd eye plays very well with RUNs natural abilities tho

With GS, you get hate very fast!
Without Shield (pld) and Cure, parrying really played a very important skill for them. Foil is another spell to evade TP moved, not 100% but you do want to keep this up all the time.
Was killing Wasp in new area, this spell is life saver. Although I still died from their Final Sting here and there (not often) due to Foil.

My gear haste capped and down to 33 to 34s recast on Foil. If there is any fast cast accessories, it should be down to 30s or less.

My only problem is... fekking feeling to Refresh spam

I might give up Borealis and use Gram instead lmfao!

Well run doesn't seem to use all that much compared to most mp jobs. Especially jobs that get refresh lol. But yeah theres gram a few bodies and the grip for solo I guess. /rdm might be a better option too then. 15% haste fastcast cure IV and convert

RUN was also designed to be a tank job. Before the level cap increase, PLD didn't have much in the way of MP management without plenty of support in the background. If MP is needed to sustain it in practical scenarios, it won't really be an issue

RUN really gives me a reason to get Oneiros grip now.
kinda annoyed cos I might have to get Hermes Sandals instead of using Crim Cuisses in order to have both refresh and movement speed in an idle/movement set

theres Prolix Ring and Loquacious Earring for fast cast accessories.. but maybe prolix isnt good for enmity.
