Can't see Run's inventory being any worse than Cor's. They're gonna have a comparable amount of sets and share a lot of gear.
Two types of primary weapon, TP and WS sets for both, sets for JAs and magic, utility sets like fast cast, PDT, MDT, etc... god damn it between this and BLU I'm going to die from inventory management overload.
Like I said, similar for Cor lol. Two types of TP sets, two types of WS sets, numerous JA macros and QD gear, pdt, mdt, only thing lacking is fastcast![]()
Aha! Guessed so, thanks for testing!
That 2304 is odd, indeed. I'm sure every rune expended gets its own resist and weather proc check (which explains some of the numbers in the other post without obi), but this number in particular doesn't fit the second best case scenario of Rune 1, 1/2 resist, Runes 2 and 3 full damage. In that scenario I get 2237 damage... Maybe, if you're using Hecate's Earring, a magic crit occured somewhere in the process, or maybe it's as dasva says and it was a wardrobe malfunction, I don't know.
In any case, I guess my collection of Obis are now added to RUN's equipment.
I'm almost certain that each rune is its own individual "nuke". Having leveled 1-99 without any leeching I had a lot of time to observe certain things, and I definitely noticed rogue Lunges where the damage would be unexpectedly low, but all three runes were consumed.
Furthermore, I definitely resisted some things that I've never seen resisted before (Jamming Wave being the primary example. Pflug + Wind resist runes/barspell caused several full resists of the silence).
Yeah, Pflug + 3 runes + both corresponding barspells gives a pseudo-immunity to the selected status effect. It's a lot of investment for resisting one thing, though, but incases like Amnesia where there isn't a -na for it, it will come really handy.
Yeah, first few days after patch it was broken, but was actually something much simpler than confusing with sudden lunge - I typo'd "/jobability" as "/jobaility" for all effusion abilities, so spellcast tried to type "/jobaility "Lunge" <t>" - which definitely doesn't work. It's all fixed now and no run stuff should need the input /raw etc etc
I did use hecate's earring, if that might help explain some of the weird numbers.
I don't understand why it's 2441 rather than 2442 using the order of operations from the wiki.
(440*1.25)*1.48 = 814 :: everything is clean
814*3 = 2442 :: again, no flooring required
So why do we get 2441?
If we change the order of operations to this:
(440*1.48)*(1.25*3) = 2441
Apart from that, though, I also don't understand the 2304 value.
I wonder if the equation we are using is more or less correct but if somehow it calculates each rune seperately and weights them differently
Also might explain the really weird 2304
This was the gear I used for the test if this might help explain 2304.
Hatzoaar Sword/Pole Grip/Erlene's Notebook

Twilight was Ice Obi when Hailstorm was up, but spellcast was handling that part so there is always a chance it didn't equip the Obi when it was supposed to. As for a wrong day proc, I doubt that was possible seeing as it was Darksday and I was only using Ice Lunges during my test on RUN/SCH.
Well if it was just obi not switch it just would've given you the same dmg as the no obi ones before. So would have to be a bigger wardrobe malfunction then that.
Not just fast cast, we need refresh set also...
to be neat and tidy, Enhancing Gears for Phalanx, Stoneskin... Bar-spells...
Currently unknown, Foil is going to be affected by Enhancing Skill ? when we are given B- Enhancing Skill grade.
Oh god... not to mention, your COR or BLU already encountered all af, relic, empry. Yet, we haven't seen RUN one, but already loaded with quite some gears in the bag.
p.s. Foil up, Ig-Alima triple attack me ar 26dmg... usually on my DRK 1.8k dmg. These of course, happened when Fana drink was not up to refresh.
At least TP and WS sets for Axe and GreatSword are pretty similar [Res and Ruin are both STR]. I haven't been watching the enmity adjustments lately but it might be worth while having a +Enmity set. TP, WS, FastCast, +Enmity, -PDT, -MDT, Obis.
I will say it's fairly refreshing to hammer on shock spikes like they aren't even there.
