Okay, I remembered to check the test server before I logged last night and it is indeed only resistance. 5/5 was 35-38 enspell, 0/5 was also 35-38 enspell. It was just the massive delay on that GS. Used Gellus on mandies in Ceizak for both was earthsday so no day bonus. Also tried out the lunge acc merit for lols and it tended to make lunge to 100-200 more damage on average, I think it's just because I was using TP gear and nothing else to test both. Guess that means my macc sucks!

Could you be a tad more specific on the lunges... like were they actually resist vs not ie 1/2 amounts? Actual amounts, skill with that weapon, number of runes, any mab? And same mandies?

I forgot to write down the exact numbers so apologies for that. Only tried a few with and without, without merits it was 1300 something, with was around 1600, no MAB just TP gear 4/5 thaumas and Nemetona cap, I think 424 GS skill. 3 Gellus runes for all lunges, same mandies in ceizak. /sch for what it's worth, no weather spell, still earthsday. If the lowest damage can be altered by resist is 1/2 I guess it wasn't resist. Not sure what other factors would change damage like that unless the random number part of the formula can account for 200-300 damage. I'll have to do a better test later maybe on lvl 0 mobs to rule out if it actually adds damage or something.

Sounds really funky but then again not sure if we ever nailed down how resists work with lunge and multiple runes. Expected full dmg would be 1590... theoretically if you got 1 half resist on 1 rune and full on the others and each one was weighted the same you'd get 1325... but iirc all the low numbers made it look like they weren't weighted the same... idk lol. If that is the case it wouldn't necessarily be your macc sucks so much as not capped. I mean 95% magic hit rate you'd still have over 85% chance to get all 3 unresisted but just going down to 90% hit rate would bring your odds down to 73%ish to land all 3. Could just the ye old multi hit problem

New Naakuals are an Earth based Plantoid and a Thunder based Bird. Yeah I don't think either one of those will be stunnable. inb4 using lullaby as a stun with max m.acc/skill, since Naakuals can be slept. Maybe lullaby will be the new stun.

Tested Lunge merit again this time on lvl 0 wild rabbits in East Ronfaure. Windsday 1x Gelus for for each try. Same gear as before. 424 skill, int 87+8 from the GS. With 5/5 merits. damage was 318 318, without merits damage was 318 159 (1/2 resist) 318. Tiny sample size but seems pretty conclusive it's just macc.

Also tested Gambit and Rayke although these were tested earlier by someone else. lvl 0 rabbits again. Stone 1 damage 149 unresisted cast by itself for reference. rayke and x3 tellus was still 149 only lowers resistance as expected. Gambit x 1 tellus was 162 and x3 tellus was 193. Someone will have to math out what that means. Unless the formula was already figured out, in which case disregard!

Merits into Rune Enchantment Effect cuts down on recast. Just posting since there was a chance it was a test server only bug. Apologies if I'm repeating what has already been said. Currently 4/5 and Timers is showing a 2 second recast.

Was Rayke's potency ever determined? I'm guessing not since MEVA is a shitty thing to test, but I'd like to think it's decent enough to deserve 1 merit.

You'd need several thousand nukes with and without to properly nail down and exact amount....

Hm, wonder what the most effective merits are? Battuta and Inspiration seem like no brainers, Rune Enhancement seems like it's a great tool to 5/5 for easier hate managing.. but I don't know. Vallation and Pflug are both great effects to merit, too. I guess Pflug will have to be left out, even though it's one of my favorite abilities. Was hoping for an AoE Pflug from these merit abilities honestly.

I'm probably going to go 5/5 Rune Enhancement, 5/5 Gambit, 5/5 Battuta, 4/5 Inspiration, 1/5 Rayke, at least for now. I may rethink Gambit in the future.

I'll 5/5 Rune (free hate!) 5/5 Vallation/Valiance (much more useful now that we can swap all 3 runes on the fly thanks to no recast), 5/5 Battuta, 4/5 Inspiration, 1/5 Rayke.

I hope they don't fix the recast delay in some emergency maint. It's nice being able to get 3 runes up quickly after lunge etc. And yeah as a hate tool, not that RUN can survive tanking anything.
