There's really no way to even confirm currently that Scaredy-Cats is part of the mission progress. All we know is that it's triggered after your first visit to the Pioneers' Coalition. But since your first visit there has to be part of mission progress, that doesn't necessarily mean that Scaredy-Cats is related.
i just did a check on coalition assignments.. there doesn't seem to be any of the sort.
PIONEER:
- Procure (HELM)
- Clear (colonization)
PEACEKEEPER:
- Preserve (lair)
- Patrol (kill X monsters)
COURIER:
- Provide (bring contruction materials to the Frontier Station in specific zones. only lists Foret and Morimar)
- Deliver (retrieve supplies back from frontier stations)
- Support (bring supplies to bivouacs).
SCOUT:
- Survey (examine an ergon locus)
- Analyze (collect 1 item from specific area).
INVENTOR:
- Gather (fetch X items)
MUMMERS:
- Recover (find lost articles)
- Research (get hit by a TP move)
- Boost (cheer up NPCs lol)
...so maybe the criteria is met its just that theres some timing issue?
Reached a new personal high on exp: 3129 (894 bayld). This was a final tick. Curious to see what the true cap might be.
That might be the case. A quick look at the Pioneers' Coalition here suggests that progress is definitely being made.
Of course, this could mean a lot of things. Either it's not quite high enough to rank up yet, the rank ups take place like conquest updates (even though they're supposedly calculated every hour), or successful assignments put it into a state where there's a chance for an upgrade every hour.Originally Posted by Civil Registrar

every coalition i went thus far only gives me assignments related to Ceizak battlegrounds... i been running to marimar alot and theres no camps there so i wanna help them out......... but cant pick anything other than ceizak ones...
Do i have to clear those to unlock other area's assignment? Is it personal? or server wide or coalition based?
I wish I had a screenshot of it but last night I got 962 bayld from a colonization in Yahse. Same one yielded roughly 800 a tick before it but I can't remember exact value.
I believe there were people on both sides of the roots, possibly enhanced the multiplier with so many people? I'd say there were around 25-30 of us.
If you read closer you'll see 5/6 of the coalitions list Ceizak as the mission but say in the text you can also complete it in Yahse. These have to be done and I'm guessing the coalition needs to level up or possibly it needs only your own rank to go up to access higher zones.

I can let a thief swing on it, WS, dusty wing, WS for light, and then i'll cast haste on them and pull hate, and they won't be able to get it back until next WS... ????
Yeah all three jobs with pets are complately unable to keep threat off them. its kinda funny spectral jig is basically provoke enmity-wise right now lol.
I think I've figured out a bit of this. The pop ups in the chat log about bonuses seem to be implying that you get better bayld/exp or something if you do that form of action until the next one pops up.
As dancer I've been holding my TP and 5 finishes until I get the line about physical attack and I drop double weaponskills in a row, and just TP when its "successfull attack"
This has been successfull in keeping me pretty close to 1~1.1K exp per tally when there is a good amount of people on roots. The rate at which the messages come up is pretty erratic though, sometimes going 2 minutes without a new one, sometimes it'll go 3 back to back changing suddenly.

Have you checked behind the reives? When I did the logging/harvesting points map, I found that the heavier concentration were behind reives.

How the whole thing is calculated just seems weird. It seems like Bayld reward per tick is tied to group performance as a whole including those not in your party. Also seems to be linked only to root/lair destruction since if nobody touches the lair/roots then no tick comes around.
I wouldn't be shocked if it was something like:
Each tick is after X amount of damage to root/lair OR X amount of time after 1st damaging blow to root/lair (maybe time intervals to check if X damage dealt yet)
Amount of Bayld earned is tied to damage dealt and time it took for tick to occur
From what I saw everyone gets the same Bayld per tick (least everyone in my party was) but exp can differ greatly so is probably tied more into personal performance. There maybe tiering for Bayld depending on what you did and everyone in my party just happened to fall into the same group. Either that or we were all hitting the Bayld cap set from group performance.
That's all anecdotal though so could be complete bollocks
