Completed all quests now, except the last 2 inside mog gardens.
Got Ivory Wing Talisman and 10k Bayld, nothing else.

I threw the mog garden quests on the tracker but highlighted them in grey so they stand out.
nm got it.
Has anyone actually personally confirmed whether you can pick an item purely from beating the two new Naakuals and not beating all of the initial three? Or is beating the first three a prerequisite to earning an item from beating the second two?
Defeating the first three Naakuals AND picking a reward from them is a prerequisite.
Do you have to pick Naakual rewards to get the subsequent medals/bayld/kinetic units?
I have 3 characters that have done all quests except limit break and the only one that can get the KU is the one that picked both naakual awards
Here's another data point to throw into the mix:
Finished all Adoulin quests except RUN/GEO limit breaks and the last two Mog Gardens quests.
Fame has been rank 5 for a loooong time now. Guessing that's the cap that people are talking about. ("Your name's making the rounds in Adoulin")
1/5 Wildskeeper KI, Partner in Courier's Coalition, Probationer in Pioneer's Coalition, lowest rank all else. All missions completed.
Wildskeeper KI prices are 45k/70k.
Reja just gave me the Ivory Wing Talisman and 10k Bayld after I finished my last quest. (Motherfuckin' hot springs.)
So considering this and what I've read up through so far:
- Ivory Wing Talisman and 10k Bayld is received after completing all Adoulin quests except for limit breaks and Mog Gardens.
- Wildskeeper Reive KI prices are almost exclusively based on coalition rank, since my ranks are crap and my prices are crap.
- Nobody knows how to get the Bronze KIs.
- Mission completion doesn't seem to mean squat at this point in time.
- 10k Kinetic Units are received after completing all Adoulin quests AND getting the first three Aged Naakual Crests.
- Need to receive the first three Aged Naakual Crests and select an item reward in order to be able to trade in the last two Crests.
Did I miss anything?
I received my 10k kinetic points while still missing Tchakka's KI
And it wont give it to me except on the character that except both naakual rewards
I assume kinetic unit reward doesn't require naakul kills, but gets cockblocked by the naakul reward dialogue if you have the kills but haven't taken the items yet.
I am not sure if this has been figured out and I am sorry if this is old news or mentioned before but I think I have found the formula for the KI price reduction from Dimmian.
The first price reduction of -5k Bayld is after you complete 6 individual rank ups. They don't have to be the same coalition. They could be rank 1 in all 6 coalitions for the first price reduction. Every reduction after the first comes when you rank up 3 times.
I have rank 4 in Courriers and Rank 1 in both Pioneer and Peacekeeper and I got my first reduction.
Can anyone verify this by checking KI cost and seeing how many total ranks you have to see if it matches up with my table above?Code:Total Key Item Ranks Cost -------------------------- < 6 50/75K 6 45/70K 9 40/65K 12 35/60K 15 30/55K 18 25/50K (current cap)
Matches up with myself (Rank 3 in all coalitions except for Courier's and Peacekeeper's where I'm rank 5 and 4 respectively); have capped 50/25
Mule as well, rank 5 Courier rank 5 Inventor 2 Peacekeeper, 60/35
edit: fixed
Only issue with that theory is that prior to the update, people (including myself) received the final reduction mid rank of the last coalition, between Disciple and Contributor. I don't know the exact number of imps between it was, but the reduction took place sometime after Disciple and prior to Contributor. Believe I remember a post on here saying it happened for them at like 15/20~25 imps needed for Contributor in Peacekeepers, with Contributor unlocked in all others.
But that formula seems to be the best approximation I've seen, as the whole use x imps idea wasn't very practical unless you've kept a log of each imp used.
This does not match my experience. I got my first price reduction sometime around when I hit rank 4 in Courier's, with everything else still 0. All I recall was that I was spamming quests and I checked my prices and they dropped a level.
I just got three more rank-ups in the past two days putting me at seven total, I'll check tomorrow and see if my price is reduced further.
I've got two coalitions still at Petitioner, unsure if those are 0 or 1 in your list, but assuming 0. That means I have 11 rank ups and 35/60k cost. It's been at that cost for a while now and I imagine it'll go down even further soon.
(Partner[4], Contributor[3], Disciple[2]x2, Petitioner[0]x2) Unfortunately, it doesn't match even if you count Petitioner as lv1 (which would bump everything up by one and leave me with 17 rank ups)
I'm 100% sure naakual reduction is not rank, but imprimaturs spent. I got a reduction while trying to rank up in scouts last week but still hadn't. Simply spending tags gave me the reduction.
Then I have no clue why I'm not getting the 10k KU reward.
Only thing I could be missing are the last 2 Mog Garden quests but I think someone reported being able to get the 10k without the Mog Garden quests done, if I'm not wrong?
Other than that I'm missin Achuka KI, but if you miss Tchakka and got the 10K KU anyway then I don't know what to think anymore
Exactely what happened to me (before the patch).
Happened at least once, maybe more, but I got a reduction MID rank, after doing a certain number of Imprimaturs which did NOT grant me a rank up.
In my opinion there is a double check.
One check is having done X imprimaturs since the last reduction (~50), the other check is having X rankups since last reduction.
If you have enough rankups but not enough imprimaturs, you'll need them to get the reduction.
If you have enough imprimaturs but not enough rankups, you won't get the reduction.
You need both.
Would make sense and explain all of the things I've seen reported from myself and other people in this and the Naakuals' thread.
