I'll try that. I really should bookmark your maps lol
Maybe it missed? If it doesn't do damage it doesn't count.
Well actually I'm not sure about the damage part, maybe if it hits for 0 it counts, but if it misses it does not, happened so many times to me on my way to Partner rank... was annoying.
Edit:
Actually what I said makes no sense.
If it missed nobody in pt would have got credit. Actually I'm surprised your mule did because I thought you had to get hit by the move to get credit for it, didn't know other people not being targeted by the move could get credit for it.
For the same reason damage done cannot be the cause either.
Maybe you guarded/parried it or something on your main? Can that even happen?
Which mob was it? A few of the moves for those assignments are AoE or at least Conal. Chapuli etc. It is possible to parry/guard a TP move and it would show up in the log as a miss. I donno if blocking the move would prevent it from counting or not. Never tried on pld before.
Isn't the move for Chapuli "Sanguinary Slash"?
Thought that was single target.
Whichever way you put it I still cannot make sense of what happened to Dasva.
If he blocked on PLD and block makes so the move doesn't count, then it shouldn't have counted for anybody else in the pt.
And I'm still surprised a single target TP move hitting someone else can count for other people in the PT as well.
When I tried it on PUP long time ago it wasn't working when my Automaton was getting hit by the move and I actually had to swap to healer automaton and letting me getting hit to receive credit. (not 100% sure on this, there might have been other factors not allowing me to get credit)
Getting credit is not 100%. I've been on SAM and not received it when hit for damage, but the same move on the same mob gave it later in the fight. You also don't have to be the primary target. I've received it on SMN while Garuda tanked it. I just needed to stand in range to get hit.
It was chapuli and it's aoe. Similar thing ended up happening when I did matamata. But as soon as I switched out my ochain my pld got credit. I'm thinking that in order to get credit the debuffs associated with the moves have to land... and that wont happen if you block them. Would explain why my other characters would get credit and why sometimes people just don't
You probably just picked a random rank for your questions, but I still figured it might be worth pointing out: Partner isn't the highest attainable rank as of now, Advisor is. So if you did 19/25 Imps after getting Partner already, use up those last 6 ones, too.
Edit: For anyone who doesn't wanna back read a page: No, any additional Imprimaturs used after attaining current highest rank did not have an effect towards unlocking the next rank once more are unlocked.
Are there any benefits to attaining max rank in all the coalitions? I've been working on ranking them all up, but I'm starting to wonder if there is any good reason to do so. My understand is that fame (from quests), not coalition ranks, is what lowers your Wilkskeeper KI costs. Am I mistaken about that, or is there some other benefit to coalition rank-ups that I might not be aware of?
Doing coalitions towards rankup is the primary way to lower wildskeeper KI cost. Quests may have some effect, but it is minimal if so. I did virtually every SoA quest, including those introduced in the latest update in the same time period (+ did a bunch of coalitions), without moving my WKR KI cost at all.
OK, so reduced WKR cost is a benefit then...thanks for clearing up my misconception about that. I'm already 5/5 on those though, and don't plan on doing any more. Is there any other benefit to maxing out coalition rank, or is that it? I ask because if I don't get anything for ranking them all up, I'm better off just using all my imps on the assignments that net me the most xp/bayld instead of doing ones with shitty rewards just for rank-up, right?
Presumably there will be library rewards for high enough/max coalition ranks, these KIs might be such:
https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Bronze_mattock_cordon
https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Bronze_shovel_cordon
They might not be available yet thou. There are no concrete (known) rewards beyond the reduced WKR cost right now afaik.
Quest definitely have an effect on costs as my first reduction came from doing quests and minimal assignment points done (ie I put everything into scouts so alot of it didn't count). As far as being done with naakuals do you mean you don't plan to do those 5 again or any in general? Because there are 2 more on the way you might want to consider lol.
As far as the KIs I now have 2 coalitions at advisor and nada so if it's ranking up that gets them it's more than that. Though who knows it could be something silly as number of individual assignments completed really screwing the people who didn't do the couriers ones right away lol
Uhm... you sure Sanguinary Slash is AoE? (I'm assuming you meant conal, but either way I always thought it was single).
If it really is conal and both your chars were in-range, then your block theory would make sense. I'm 100% sure it's like that for Evasion, might as well be the same for Block and stuff like Third Eye, Parry too? Can you parry that actually?
As for the WKR reduction, I have a theory but haven't been able to prove it yet: 1) I believe that Adoulin fame effects the max number of reductions that you are able to receive (rank 1 fame = 5k max, rank 5 = 25k max) and 2) the amount of imps used under contributor rank effects how many reductions you get.
For 1) I know that I had rank 1 fame and 2 coalitions at contributor rank and only had a 5k reduction yet when my rank increased to 2 I had a 10k reduction.
For 2) I'm still trying to figure out but I believe for every 60 imps used under Contributor rank you are eligible for a reduction. Right now I have rank 5 fame, 2 Partner, 1 contributor, 2 Disciple and Petitioner and only have a 15k reduction. I should have just about 20 imps to put into my Disciple ranks so I'll be able to check this soon. I guess we'll see...
Thanks, I should have suspected that.
