Really disappointed that the new Mummer's game doesn't let you keep the items you get from the box, could actually make money while grinding medals.

For those that haven't played it, 3 different types of boxes (that I saw); blue, which has a crystal, brown which has a cluster, and red which has a cluster or rarely a jewel. Crystal is 1 medal, cluster 4 medals, jewel 15 medals, all multiplied by your wager (x5 for 500 gil). Random what boxes pop up, can be 5 blue and 1 brown, or 2 red, 3 brown, 1 blue, etc. Jewels aren't 100% from red, but you go on a hot streak earning jewels more often from reds once you hit one.

The latter - imagine turning a 1/64 HQ chance into a 1/16 HQ chance....would make Atinian Staff +1 a legitimate crafting goal.

To be clear, I'm not asserting anything like that, I simply think it would be swell. The testing on it....ouch....lots of bayld and I'm sure it's 1% like the ring.

Well true if you make anything super omg overpower it will be good regardless of cost but realistically speaking it probably does the same thing as the regular food

That would be my presumption as well.

Are you doing 10,000 bliauts? Cause that's about what it will take to determine a 1% increase in HQ. Something larger would show up much sooner obviously.

If I get the balyd to burn I might test something else that I'm t1 on. Basically what I'm doing with other crafting food. Are these tradeable? That said at 500 balyd for a minute you could only really do 2 a minute besides costing 250k balyd just to do 1k sample you wouldn't really be able to automate as much

my mule got only the ability to unlock tavnazia, i am not sure if you need some form of rank in the coalition or so (he barely has anything done in SoA). my Main got everything

EDIT: mule has also missions of Aht urgan and WoG not completed, maybe that might be a reason too

one of my mules is on the same boat, one in FFXIAH thread claim that his friend got the runes and dont have TOA completed.

I think the only benefit Trailblazer NQ and +1 have is increasing the number of attempts before fatiguing. With the armors and KIs I saw no real change in quality of items from mining nor did they break any less frequently. With a fresh Ionis and Trail+1 Pickaxe, I could mine 26 more times after my first swing.

So yeah, just noticed for the All the Way to the Bank quest that it may be glitched for the better. It may be patched now, but when the update came out, I skipped the paying off the npcs and was able to directly start picking hats for the tarus. I tried trading the gil to the wrong npcs I guess, got frustrated and tried trading an apple to the Mischief Marker and it let me skip losing all that gil. Only downside is you have the temp invoice item forever, but yeah, glitch none the less.

Tbh I've come to doubt it's possible at all to get upgrades not in the order they are presented...has it ever happened on any server?

Anyone else not able to buy the waypoint runes for WG and Nashmau, only the Tavnazien one from Josephine in Couriers Coalition? I'm rank 5 (partner) there, finished all missions and all quests. Only did Ceizak frontier support over on over again and only once Foret supply delivery.

Has anyone tried getting the 2 Skirmish titles, to see if they have any effect on the remaining unfound Library key items?

I cleared all naakuals, all missions, all (non-AF) quests, and have both Skirmish titles and they don't give any reward for it. Someone else mentioned it earlier also.
