So, I had my ranks mixed up in my previous post in that I have 2 that are probationer and not disciple but with that said I can confirm that for each 50 (not 60) imps used under contributor rank, you get a 5k reduction based on your Adoulin fame; ie: Rank 3 fame and 250 imps used between any of the coalitions will net you a 25k reduction.

Incase it wasn't posted yet, its not limited to usage below contributor rank. I got my last 2 reductions going from Contributor > Advisor in Peacekeepers and Pioneers.

I can confirm both wins gave me nothing sadly, I have had every quest done except the LB's an AF's, all missions, 3 delve bosses, 5/5 WK etc. I've been repeating the coconut quest every week since release, and every repeatable released after, every week, and I'm still at level 5 fame. I've just about given up hope lol, I've even got all the ergon locus as well. I just cant think of anything that I can do extra, outside of all the run/geo stuff and ofc finishing my ranks in coalitions (4/6 Advisor, 2 partner).

Only thing I can think of is to have access to every Biv.

Now have access to All Bivs and Waypoints, no change ; ;

I've done every single quest listed here: https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Category:Adoulin_Quests, with the exception of RUN/GEO AF and limit break quests and "Vegetable Vegetable Evolution".

Confirmed that the previous quest "Vegetable Vegetable Revolution" is 100% complete...

...but I cannot get the cutscene to flag the quest. According to the fame NPC, I have rank 5 fame.

Any ideas if this quest is tied to mission progress or coalition rank?

Don't get too comfortable with new edifications, we can lose them now if people slack on doing them as Coalitions can now fall in rank. I'm looking at your Mummur and Courier Coalitions.

We've always been capable of losing them (according to NPC dialogue at least), no reason to suddenly think its more likely to happen now. If anything, its far less likely since people will be wanting to increase their rank for the new services.

And really, they're fairly spread out. Pioneers will always be done cause people will always be doing Colonization Reives, Couriers will always be done as they open/keep bivs and provide the best Bayld/exp return, Inventors will always be done because thats the "I got no time for this shit, lemme throw gil at it" option, Mummers will be done as the quick, cheap option (Moral Boosting), and Scouts will be done (though in less quantity I'd imagine since most Tinctures suck) in order to keep Ergon Lotus research up.

Only one in any real danger IMO is Peacekeepers, and even then, as capes can come from Lairs, they'll be done. Without those, maybe it'd be in trouble, but it never once deranked on any server prior to capes being added.

Yeah I've yet to hear of it actually happening and I've seen coalitions go into the eval with probably going to fall message. So while the dats and messages suggest they can fall not sure it's realistically possible

It's not going to happen anytime soon, and certainly not until bayld has no real use and people are tired of putting any effort into colonization. At that point people will complain and SE will lower the rate of decay just like they did with bivs and before that with col rate. And honestly they need to adjust col rate more since even after the magical fix of "no more panopts (outside reives!)" the rate is barely hovering around 30% on my server in Yorcia. Same goes for easy zones like Morimar and Foret. People just don't care about reives if you can avoid them or they don't give you a cape.

Pretty tired of trying to figure this stupid thing out. If that's the case then I got my 4th @ 250 imps. With you getting both reductions from putting 50 into each Coalition, at least that part is true. That just leads me to believe that the first 50 imps don't count towards your reduction and this is why I say this: It takes 50 imps just to access the WKR in the first place. So if the first 50 don't count, that'd put me @ 200 and would line up with the 50 imps per reduction. And at this point, I don't even know if Adoulin fame even plays a factor.

My 3rd reduction was at 200 Imps. So fits your theory, im about to hit 250, will report back if I get another reduction

Of course that theory most likely only applies to certain amounts of regular quests done as they also effect reductions

True. To what degree, I'm not really sure but I know someone else posted that they had 3 reductions with rank 1 fame and only 8 quests completed.

Also to note I've done every quest except geo af and have 3 coalitions at advisor. Given it takes 110 imps to get to advisor this puts me at at least 330 and am only at 4 reductions. So it kinda pokes a hole in 50 to get acess then 50 more per reduction as I should be at almost a 6th reduction by now if it were possible

I think there might need to be a balance between coalitions of some sort, and my rankings have been acting seemingly wonky.

I got up to Contributer in the Pioneer's Coalition, before seemingly flatlining in progress. All other guilds are barely touched, with the exception of Couriers. In Couriers, I somehow jumped all the way up to Disciple after doing only two 3-tag runs to Morimar.

My fame is Rank 5, and I'm still paying 45000/70000 per WKR. It's seems to have been that way for ~30 tags or so, but I don't have the exact count. Is there a way to check?

Yes I just started a 4th. But I'm only 6-9 imps into it so still less than 350. That said it has been a decent bit since I got my last one so by feel I should be getting my 5th soon. I think I got a good 12 built up so I can see if that pushes me over the last hump today. There may be some other factor as well like maybe the number of different coalitions done ( I litterally haven't touched 2 and just started 4th) and maybe even something silly as number of types completed. Though for the 3 I'm advisor in I've done all the ones I can do (kinda screwed starting courier late). Or maybe even that at lower ranks imps count for more idk

I keep throwing out theories and they keep getting debunked...I guess that's not a bad thing. If you get your last reduction @ 350 then there's something else I have in mind. I still think the first 50 imps aren't being counted for reductions but I'm thinking that it's not a static 50 per reduction. It may be a tiered system (seeing as SE loves to tier things in FFXI). So, first reduction is @ 100, then 155, then 215, then 280, and finally 350. That would mean 50, 55, 60, 65, and 70. And since the reductions were first introduced when Contributor rank was the max you could achieve, it would've forced you to pretty much cap out ranks on all Coalitions to get max reduction.

Wonder how long it'll take for this to be debunked...

:/ Advisor in 3 coalitions and still 65/30, Kinda annoying but w/e. Is there a way to tell how many imps you've burned now or is everyone still guesstimating?
