This is the first time I see someone claiming they're not receiving the 10k KU because of low coalition ranks.
Only difference I see between your situation and others is the "distribution" of ranks. You have 3 at the highest and 3 at the lowest.
Tbh I'm very skeptic about the idea of it being the cause of you not receiving the reward.


Some things blocking the reward for people that I've been seeing so far:

• Make sure you completed ALL of the Mog Garden quests (KIs or Ranks have no influence at all)
• Double check once again all of your completed quests, pay attention for a couple of them with very similar names. There's a spreadsheet around made by Slycer I think that you can use to ease the task of double-checking. A lot of people were bloody sure to have all quests done (myself included) then after doublechecking several times found out one missing or not completed. The 2 Job Specific questlines for GEO and RUN aren't necessary, at least from the Genkai onwards.
• You need to have killed all 5 Wildkeepers and to have turned in the 2 respective quests at the celennia. Or at least if you started one of them, you need to choose a reward before being able to get the 10k KU

The 10k Bayld should be a reward for completing all city quests.
The 10k KU should be a reward for completing ALL quests, even those outside.
In theory I don't think any other aspect from quest-related ones should matter.
Re-check thngs you've already checked, you might have done a mistake there and missed something D:

I have done every single quest, inside, outside and in garden...only geomancer genkai+af are out, but as you say they don't appear to be necessary. And got the other rewards from naakuals and the bayld one.

And I assume you already did a double-check of the quest list several times already, right? (me and other people thought the same, until we found one we missed. In particular there were 2 quests with similar name which I BOTH marked as "done" in the spreadsheet, while actually I hadn't done one of them, took me a while to find it out)

I don't want to rule out the coalition rank thing, might be that you need a minimum rank in all coalitions but honestly it sounds very strange to me, it should have nothing to do with ranks, just quests done. And I think (not 100% sure) I had peacekeepers at petitioneer when I got my 10k KU.

I would check all quests one more time. Make a spreadsheet and check off every quest you've done, it's easy to miss one. I got my KU with hardly any coalition rank or mission progress.

You don't need to have the Naakul kill quests done. I had either 0-1 when I got the KU reward on a mule. You might need to have capped fame but if you finished all the quests that should follow naturally. I would do what the others are suggesting and make a spreadsheet and check off the quests.

One other thing is that if you have the Naakul kills done and havent picked a reward, it wont jump to reward you for the KU till you actually pick your reward/s.

Edit: Also I got the rewards with only scouts capped on rank and at most 6-9 tags used elsewhere so I doubt that coalition ranks has anything to do with it.

Correct, but if you started it and didn't pick up your reward yet, then you'll have to do so before getting the 10k KUs.

There's a very useful Spreadsheet released by Slycer.
Just make sure you don't do my same mistake, there's 2 quests with almost identical names, I misread them and while scrolling the list marked them both as completed, while I had completed only one.

Not sure what you're talking about, probably confusing me with someone else (I haven't seen this spreadsheet and didn't make it). There's a list of quests on the wiki, but that's not what you're talking about:

Prothescar made the original, I imported it to google docs, threw in some conditional formatting, and added the new quests and wiki links after the update. I plan to keep this maintained with new stuff as it's added, but if anyone wants to help I can give you access to edit. I wouldn't be opposed to eventually expanding it to cover the whole game if people are interested.

That'd be pretty amazing. As an oldschool player that had to remake, gotta say that my biggest hurdle with catching up on old quests (not for the use, just to experience the story/little tidbits again) was just the annoyance of fame lvls, chains, and having to go all over the game world, though the multitude of warps available ease that a good bit.

I just spent 27 bloodthreads on 25 tags in the Inventors' coalition (3x8, 1x1) while I was a Partner, but I'm still not Advisor rank. Something is up with Inventors' coalition.

Took me 65 tags instead of 60 to hit Contributor, I checked my logs and everything.

Same thing happened to me in Inventors. Contributor to Advisor was something like Cont > Partner 25 > Advisor 30+

I can only think of coalition ranks as a possible explanation, something like a minimum to attain in each(I capped 3 and am base rank in the others). I did not miscount my quests and have done everything else that can be done in Adoulin.
Now haven't touched the game in a few days so not even trying to raise my coalitions further for now.

edit: oh and also never got titles from Cirdas and Rala skirmishes.

Don't need to cap more than 1 coalition (if that's even a consideration) because I got KU reward on an alt with just scouts capped and at most 6 tags used in other coalitions combined. Alt didn't have ANY skirmish titles, had at MOST 1 WKR kill and 0 delve boss kills. Alt had all quests done/rank 5 fame including Mog garden quest (but no assistants).

I didn't have any when I got my KU, so we can rule that out.
I think I recall people getting KU with only 1 coalition capped and the other at petitioneer. Might be wrong here, but I think I remember several people reporting this for their mules.

Did you actually re-check your quest list with a spreadsheet and stuff or were you so bloody sure the first time you checked it that you didn't bother checking again?
Sorry if I insist with this, which doesn't necessarily have to be the source of your problem, but after seeing other people and myself being so incredibly sure they were fine quests-wise only to find out they were actually wrong, makes me invite you to check again first, in case you didn't do it already after reading our posts.

I don't think its inventors. I had this issue with Couriers where 2 of my rank ups were higher than they should have been. Disciple > Contributer was more than 20 (Not sure if it was 25 or more) and Partner > Advisor was around 35+. I was spamming Ceizak (which is the lowest level mission) for purposes of rank up. I think that maybe spamming the lowest level missions gives diminished returns at certain higher ranks or there are certain jumps that get bigger as you cap out more coalitions. I THINK that my Contributer to Partner jump was still 25 though as it should have been.

Anyone gotten all of the Coalitions to Advisor yet? I haven't been 100% optimal with my imps (just doing 3s instead of usings 1s and 2s to rank up) and I missed 2 or 3 imps since its been implemented, but I'll have all Advisors midday Saturday (as long as I rank up as expected). Hope this finally pays off with the KIs, maybe 1 for all at Advisor, and the other having all Advisor assignments completed, or something.
