i suppose lair reives are somewhat different. Havent tried attacking a lair reive (boulders) in Morimar without demolition. I was under the impression that its mainly for the crags.. but maybe a pattern distinguising lairs and colonization reives can be observed

bivoauc qns. Do i have to turn in an empty one to make it appear in future? or i can still turn in at any (even erected bivoauc) and still able to pop an empty one

Yeah this whole thing is strange and it's bugging me. There are different dialogs for him which almost seems like it's fame, but people with different fame aren't triggering different messages, so I am not sure. I had thought earlier that maybe there is another quest or pre-req quest that has already been in the game for some time; perhaps a sidequest from CoP since the NPC is from the same secret society as Nag'Molada but I am at a loss.

Has anyone done enough Coalition assignments to rank up and then talk to him? Has anyone even done enough Coalition assignments to rank up? By rank up I mean the quasi-title the Civil Registrar NPCs give you when you ask how you're doing, not the Coalition's rank itself.

I can damage the boulders in Lair reives in morimar w/o demolishing. same for wasp nests in reszak w/o logging.

I can't get the Velkk quest and have done everything except:
* Exotic Delicacies
* It Sets my Heart Aflutter
* A Stone's Throw Away
* A Good Pair of Crocs (the Velkk Quest)
* A Shot in the Dark (after the Velkk Quest)

I also did one repeat of the Elshimo coconut quest. I would bet that either Exotic Delicacies or It Sets My Heart Aflutter is the pre-req quest.

Same for me, though I've finished It Sets my Heart Aflutter and still no luck on the Velkk quest. Thinking its Exotic Delicacies that's the pre-req, and in the same situation as Spira. Bahamut sucking for Saffron. At least some have wizened up to bivouacs mattering, 3/3 on Ceizak and just got our first in Yahse this morning.

Holding my tags in case a coalition loses progress through the week if people start to slack. All coalitions except for scouts say we've been remarkable at completing our assignments, and might rank up. I'd spam scouts, but that observing the loci assignment has me so confused. Got it the first time at 2.7 away to the SE at 6:15, after trying different directions for half an hour, tried again the next game day from the same direction and time and cept failing. Finally got it at 1.5 N at 12:30.

SE just trolled me by giving a marble nugget from colonization reive in morimar while others break the crags down for me..

It's not exotic delicacies, because I still have it flagged yet I also have A Good Pair of Crocs flagged too. Guess that points to there being a 4th lvl of fame that the NPC isn't correctly telling us about then? I'll go recheck Velkk quest, done a few things out on Foret since I last checked (after doing Flutter) but they didn't raise my fame that I saw. And yeah, maintenance. XD They mentioned a client update too, wonder what's changing.

ok.. now im a bit more glad that i got that marble nugget.. and that i left the area to do assignments.
Just turned in 11 imprimaturs worth of Support to Yahse #3 in hopes that that will spring up before #2.

yea keep ur marble even if its not mined, chances are that after patch NPC takes everything, or maybe make it requiring a 100% key item digged from mining points.....

or even better, tells u to do the same as logging, that would be great XD

Palms do require Logging; had one person with us without it that couldnt damage them.
