Your individual rank or the actual coalition itself? If the coalition ranked up, did weapons or traditional armor II pop up and how much were the costs in Bayld for them?

I'm in Arrapago atm...but we have the weapons available. IIRC theyre 30k Bayld (its the Reive weapons), I'll confirm it when I'm done this stupid ZNM. The Coalition ranked up, Carb has Pioneer and Peacekeeper at 1.

Did 15 tags worth of Bloodthread assignments for the Inventor's Coalition, all using 3 at a time. I did not rank up. Either it's 15 in singles or more than 15.

Edit: 1200/1200 from the Rala Waterways gathering assignment.

You get 500exp/bayld for using one imp so I'm gonna continue to just feed the Inventors coalition threads one at a time until I rank up. I'd continue with the Couriers but its clear that guild will be popular as apart of expanding further into Ulbuka.

I knew it was less overall for doing 3s, but I wanted to see if doing 3s ranked you up faster. When I get more tags I'll try again and see how many it took me, if you've been doing singles it'll be a good comparison, just jot down how many it took you to rank up.

Edit: I'm also trying really hard to get it to switch to Emblem, for the Ionis Synth Skill up rate increase, but Shiva is hardpressed into the flag, apparently.

In order to be accurate and understand exactly how much stuff is required to rank up in a coalition people should start keeping a record of their Coalition activities. Although to control for the possibility that finishing a reive at 2 or 3 IMPs might rank you up AND add on to a little bit of "fame" into the next rank, maybe it's best to ensure the final quest you do to get you ranked up is a 1 IMP quest. And then from that point forward keep a diary of all the coalition quests you successfully complete and how many IMPs were used until you rank up again.

Just double checking, because I got excited... but you DO mean they ranked up last Sunday, right?

I was going to ask the same thing. Would be awesome if they weren't bound to JP midnight on Sunday but I believe that is still the case.

I can't get the Velkk quest and have done everything except:
* Exotic Delicacies
* It Sets my Heart Aflutter
* A Stone's Throw Away
* A Good Pair of Crocs (the Velkk Quest)
* A Shot in the Dark (after the Velkk Quest)

I also did one repeat of the Elshimo coconut quest. I would bet that either Exotic Delicacies or It Sets My Heart Aflutter is the pre-req quest.

I've done It Sets my Heart Aflutter but can't flag A good pair of Crocs with level 2 fame. So if it is a prerequisite, you must need higher fame too. Wiki lists level 4 but I don't think anyone has that high yet do they?

It's rank 3 fame, as I was able to flag A Good Pair of Crocs with it. The prereq is It Sets my Heart Aflutter, due to you help the croc quest giver's son in that quest. The quest following the croc one is A Shot in the Dark. All quests are rank 3, as I'm 39/42 and the other 3 are flagged.

Confirmed. The It Sets my Heart Aflutter quest is a prereq for this. Also, I am still level 3 fame. Now I also have A Shot in the Dark active, still only level 3 fame.

Perhaps it's not working like it ought to be? What do the other language versions of the patch notes say? Maybe we got a botched English translation.

That's the thing, the update notes say that coalition ranks are evaluated hourly. If they're not, then is that mechanic broken or just not translated well?

hourly would be too low unless they lessened what it takes to rank up a coalition. would never rank them up in that amount of time. definitely sounds like a typo unless it means progress is evaluated every hour and the actual process isn't until conquest tally

I'm pretty sure what's being evaluated hourly is the % colonization of each zone.

Edification Rank
The edification rank represents the extent to which the coalition has advanced.
This rank is calculated every hour (Earth time), and may rise, fall, or stay the same depending on player actions.

As a coalition's rank rises, it will offer more services, open additional shops, and even change in appearance.

Some shops are affiliated with a particular coalition and will offer an expanded inventory and provide discounts as their coalition's rank increases.

Ranks for each coalition may be viewed by hovering your cursor over "Adoulin" in the "Colonization" section of "Region Information" in the main menu.
* In this version update, the maximum edification rank of each coalition has been set to three.

Unless the English translation is completely borked, it really does read like the Coalition Rank can go up or down every hour. (Not Colonization %, but the Coalition Rank).

It would make sense that we only saw a rank up during the Conquest Tally as that happens on the hour, but also, everyone would have been part of a major push in the hour just before then. I would suspect (if everything is working like the notes say), that if we tried a similarly massive push we could see rank ups regardless of when the Conquest Tally is.
