I'm guessing need to rank up in the coalition to gain access to supply run and whatever, and eventually it'll level up the camps and let you raise the cap by another 5-10%
I guess a related question to ask would be: what is Square's intent for the having an option for 1, 2, or 3 IMPs at all? Is it intended to just be a way for us to blow 3 at once to make it less tedious since they accrue faster than assault tags? If the intent is to give us more exp/bayld for our time it doesn't seem really that dramatically different.
U make out w an extra 600 xp/bayld goin 1by1 it seems...its a lot of extra time tho
That is also a good question. When they say "might rise" and "almost certainly rise" is it still possible for it not to rank up at tally? Or is that just a way for the NPC to make a qualified hedge statement like just in case the value falls soon before the tally gets around?
Easy way to find this out, on sunday before the weekly tally run around to the servers 6 coalitions and write down what the state of each of their ranks are. Then after tally note whether or not they ranked up accordingly. If any of them ever *don't* rank up with the "might rise/certainly rise" statements then maybe its some stupid percent chance of not ranking up.
i was under the impression that imprimaturs were conceptually similar to the moblin counter thing.. except you have a choice how many you want to use.
Put simply, it could be more of a time management thing.
on the one hand if you do singles, you spend more time and get more exp/bayld per tag, but on the other you save a lot of time and effort by doing 3, but lose out on some exp/bayld. if 3 tags helps to rank up faster, then it just makes it better.
personally, i'd think 3 tags is always the better way to go than one unless you're just doing the tag for a quick clear or something because in the time you save from not doing it individually (especially for supply run), you could easily make up for it doing something else. the same kinda applies for those 'bring X items' or 'kill X mobs' assignments.
and this helps relieve possible overcamping or overcrowding for certain assignments.. altho this hasn't exactly occurred yet.
I just got probationer pioneer's today, now have access to quests clear floret and clear morimar, but nothing new in the other quest section. Brenton says to do quests for all coalitions, so, going to rank up all coalitions to probationer for now.
I suppose if 20 was the hard and fast number per rank up (or any even number) you could do 2x2 save some time and save an extra 10 impi. as a middle-ground.
i intend to do 1x3imp a day to clear them off and rank up. Courier is done, so i'm now working on scouts - ergon locus survey is really easy lol. I hit up Luminous Isle in Yahse cos i'm pretty sure its the closest - its just that it requires watercrafting.
Also in hopes that Scouts will rank up to give us Foret/Morimar maps.
in terms of effort difficulty for ranking up in coalitions.. i'm gonna say these are the best options.
Pioneer - Clear: Ceizak (colonization reives)
Peacekeeper - Preserve: Ceizak (lair reives)
Courier - Support: Ceizak (i believe you can just keep running to the nearest bivouac - i personally prefer Yahse #1)
Scouts: - Survey: Ceizak (not like you have a choice. Luminous Isle is nearest with watercrafting, Flourishing Isle if you dont)
Inventors - Gather: Rala (farm lower lv diremites for Bloodthread in older areas)
Mummers - Recover: Ceizak (lost article locations are mostly fixed i think)
Is it possible there is some benefit to doing more than 1 type per coalition instead of spamming the same ones?
hmm... I run to Morimar, the Station Tarutaru asked something about signing up assignment.
My question now is -
Which coliation actually help them build a camp? I would like a waypoint there, than keep running XD
Courier's Coalition.
Probationer (rank 2) gives you a Provide: Morimar assignment
Thanks! Now I need to spam that Coalition... I guess lolz
Thoughts on breaking the 25% cap?
Maybe conquest tally with certain guilds reaching higher ranks? Does any server have Courier's above 0?
