That screenshot you fixed seems to suggest they are consumed on entry from what I can see.

I'd hazard a guess at the permanent KI's Cair posted being obtained once you beat them as proof you have done so for NPC/Story purposes maybe? Kinda like the Abyssea bosses.

Just seems like a really steep entry fee unless everyone gets rewarded decently. By their own admission, it's like 75-100 reives of Bayld for one naakual...

Yeah, 100K KI was taken upon entry. Talked to NPC again after exiting and he didn't mention anything new(just offered same KI again for 100K), so you definitely have to kill the Naakul to get the other KI.

Silly question, but did any of you had Ionis effect on during the fight? Might be why you couldn't dmg it?

And here's the kicker.... It's immune to all damage, so it's looking like we need another KI to even deal damage to it. We tried killing all the mobs in the area, to the point they just stopped repopping now, but still can't deal damage to NM.

Just to be sure, you already have Demolishing?

Maybe you need another skill like Logging and Demolition to actually dmg them?

Looks like it's DW+3% according to Prothescar in the BLU guide on FFXIAH.

Also, is it just some weird angle or... is Achuka really small? Players barely came up to his knee in images on the official site. Maybe the Naakuals grow in size after being killed a couple times. Or something.

What kind of bayld are people getting from reives/coalition tasks out in Morimar, Foret, and the like? If it's relatively high, I'm wondering if the steep entry fees for Naakuals are to encourage people to go out farther beyond Ceizak and Yahse.

Any clue as to how to unlock more maps from the Scout's Coalition? I assumed the flag would have done that but we got it on my server and still no maps, so it's gotta be something else
Sifa Alani not selling any more maps to me and no new NPC that I could see.

They mark your maps with Bivouac locations.

In all likelihood, you probably need to finish this quest in order to damage them.

Woo of all naakuals why did you have to pick the one that's furthest off and in a 0 colonization zone?

The screenshot posted shows that as being obtained by seemingly not doing anything other than talking to the guy so I doubt it's that as I imagine Ejin has it.

Pure speculation but it may be that him taking 0 damage is inked to the colonization %.
