    Nobody appreciated the effort it took to obtain Fiat Lux, but everyone spammed it the second they could, then complained when Fiat Lux was gone, when they didn't even help maintain the darn campaign status.

    Are we ignoring the fact that it took 2 weeks of expansion release high to unlock Naakuals or the fact that one evening of 2 or 3 alliances massacring Zvahl is a lot less tedious than farming reives for 3 days nonstop so I can do a fight a single time?

    Hopefully they'll make Bayld easier to obtain eventually but they seem very intent on keeping us gaining Bayld at a specific rate (their reasoning for reive melee nerf). I don't know about the rest of you guys but regardless of how good the naakual shit is I'm not interested in killing roots for 15 hours so I can get to the "real" content. I'd rather actually be playing a video game.

    Honestly I'm fine with how Reive is because its such a short event it really doesn't bother me, the only issue I have with it is the 1hr repop on the roots, I understand why it is in place, but 1hr is way to long when this is the most efficient way to farm bayld.

    Well, if you do the cycle in Ceizak, ou won't suffer much from the one hour repop.
    (Start from north east one, then do west one, go north to do lair reive, head west do col reive, head south to do last reive, then go back to north east, wait 10 mins ish depending on how fast you were at clearign other reives, and repeat. It's non stop really.)

    And yet, if it was shorter, you'd cause great problems for navigation in areas that don't have the Reives killed constantly.

    Teleporting to different bivaucs would kinda bypass that.

    Its the only way to farm bayld, unless i missed something else. Soul pyres dont really count (1 pyre per 10 min, with a chance at ~50 bayld) and ops limit you to one chance per 6 hours.

    I think probably its the colonization % so just don't do the stupid Trex or Shark. Also I wonder if Naakuls can reward the higher tier statue parts.

    Edit: Spira if you're still updating your maps here's the locations for Lost Article I've found in Yahse. And additionally I know the Lost Article can appear at H-6 on Ceizak that isn't on your map yet. It's at the entrance to the corridor that leads out of the zone. And also another in Ceizak that is at the round area in F-10.

    Foret has 4 Ergon Loci.

    The air grows tense thing is the entrance to Tchakka's lair.

    the Chigoe are mainly in the north island, and i believe north-west as well.
    so.. 2x and 4x upstream from the one you start at

    Can confirm Colkhab takes damage, but at a drastically reduced amount. -75% DT definitely seems to fit. Melee hits were landing for 20-50 and WS from 200-500.

    After about 90 minutes of messing around with PLD BRD DRG SAM WHM x2:


    Interestingly... it can be slept. Landed lullaby maybe 10-15 times:




    TP moves used:

    Colkhab readies Stinger Volley. Single target or conal damage. Additional effect: ST20 and paralyze.
    Colkhab readies Vespine Hurricane. Single target or conal medium damage. Additional effect: attack down and magic defense down.
    Colkhab readies Droning Whirlwind. AoE damage + dispel 1 buff. Gives Colkhab a wind aura effect which gives it enhanced evasion and blink effect that lasts for 2-3min. (this was the true run killer for us, as it became basically un-damageable)
    Colkhab readies Mandibular Lashing. Single target or conal very high damage. I suspect it might be a throat stab type attack since it was dropping the PLD from full to 400-500 HP.

    Correct. We noticed no regen, but can't entirely rule out regen unless someone checks in a day or 2 and finds it still at 93%.

    Gotta nuke it down with -ga spells I guess? Does Lunge go past blink? What else beats blink?

    Did Reive Unity function within the fight? Did killing the adds do anything? Were you getting evaluations regularly like other Reives?

    Yes, and it was unlimited. Typically I only notice 1 of each momentum bonus per reive, then they just stop, but in wildskeeper, they seem to keep going and going(i think we got JA reset maybe 6 times).

    Evaluations were also like other reives. Max we got was 300xp/bayld when we were zerging, but killing 20x fodder mobs while the PLD held the NM would barely get us 3xp/bayld.

    Unity bonus are always unlimited. You probably just didn't pay close attention when you're snoozing in front of a helpless log.
