What kind of WS damage were you doing on SAM and how many people total?
What kind of WS damage were you doing on SAM and how many people total?
I think what happened is, we died at 1% during the final zerg. When you raise it says you rejoin the reive and you lose all of your reive bonuses etc., when we died it wiped us being part of the fight and thus we got no credit for it.
I was doing anywhere between 300 and 600 shohas with 99 amano, we had around 35~ people total there, but only Shen and I were on the monster for 90% of the battle.
im pretty much certain that thats what happened, because those of us who died are the only ones who didnt get any EXP, bayld, or items when the NM died. Essentially we sat there and participated for 4 hours, spent 100000 bayld, and got left out of the rewards because we got hit by an unlucky AoE right at the end of the fight. Such a stupid system...
I'd advise anyone who tries to participate in one of these fights to watch out in the last few percent to avoid having this happen to them.
I dunno if this been mentioned because it seems kinda obvious, but haven't seen it the last 30 pages.
You get limit/exp points and Bayld with each evaluation. The limit/exp points seem to be a pointer on how much that evaluation is worth at a maximum depending on how much of the obstacle you brought down. And the Bayld is how much YOU got out of the participation. I never seen Bayld higher than limit/exp points but I've seen it lower, and that's when I haven't cured as much as before.
average was probably somewhere around 200-250, spike could hit up to 500+ I didn't really see anything above that. Scherzo, Madrigal, March, Sole Sushi I was able to sit in and tank along side the 3 other paladins with some minor difficulty, Droning Whirlwind does an insane amount of damage without Scherzo and will likely 1 shot your dd.
Incisive Apotheosis, hit me for 1,271 w/ scherzo up, 1 shot'd someone else near me, gave me weakness effect, I don't know if its a TP move that happens at low% only but it's defiantly a nasty TP move, the weakness only lasted 20s on me but that's 20s you wouldn't want your tanks crippled with only 500-600hp.
There were roughly 5 SMN there and it was kinda beneficial, they did their best to maintain their buffs, earthen armor, hastega, and would PD rotation when we got Ability resets, which would happen roughly once every 30 minutes or so. I participated in the fight for about 3 1/2 hours got ~20k bayld in total from all the evaluations. Like Prothescar said at low % watch your HP and go in when its safe because if you die and get up you're screwing yourself out of drops most likely, probably safest to PD rotation the last 5% to prevent anything nasty from happening with aura down 1 PD could net us anywhere from 4-7% of her HP, with aura up we'd be lucky to push her down 3%.
Anyone planning a go at the bee on Bahamut? Would hate to use the KI to enter, to only have to afk there until a group comes along to do it lol.
Just finished up assignments page on BG Wiki:
https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Category:...on_Assignments
Check it out if you have a chance. The assignment tables are already on the individual coalition pages and I'm not a huge fan of duplicating information as it leads to inconsistencies, but I think in this case it's worth it to be able to see all of the assignments in one place for comparison's sake. If there's any missing info for individual assignments or exp/bayld values that you're aware of, please add them in. Individual assignment pages are largely incomplete, but are going up over time... I think it's more important to get the info recorded on the category page first.
One thing I wasn't sure of - the supplies runs to the stations in Morimar/Foret are listed as 750/1350/1800 for exp/bayld... I thought they were a lot more than that (talking about the "provide" runs for constructing the stations).
More than likely the thing where you lose credit upon RR is intended to keep people from zombieing a mob that doesn't regen health. If you die stay down, until a thousand bodies litter the floor of the reive and crash the zone. It's probably not a bug but it's also incredibly shitty. Resing should only wipe a % of your progress, not the whole thing.
And Byrth, Xux pants? For what job? I can't see wearing those over Thaumas. I guess they'd be good Blade Hi pants?
Has anyone actually tried using something that is fixed damage so that we can figure out their exact -DT? Atm it seems like we are just speculating.
As far as I could see from bee fight the colonization rate and DT% seems to be the case. During the fight the rate went from 23% to 26% for little bit and the damage went up little.
With 99 Rag resolution was doing 300-900 with an occasional 1000ish spike. Tried a few Scourges and they did 300-600 when they didn't hit shadows.
Picture of drops after the reive ended.
Mules was the same with Xux hat as second item.
Achuka was taking 0dmg from all sources with 0 colonization, and the bee was taking what was deemed to be 1/4 of what people expected to do at 23-26 colonization. Its up to 10% on Carby now in that area, im sure other servers are achieving the same success, could try to find some suckas to burn another 100k bayld for that and see if its taking damage now.
Either way, speculation or not, it seems like it has some merit. What attack can players do that does fixed damage? 1k needles will probably miss. That leaves quickdraw...which would be easy to test. Go in, QD, let the colonization raise/drop, QD again. No?
I've noticed a slight change in damage with different colonization % however I need to test it more. I'll parse runs and see what comes of it. Same gear/job/WSs, etc...
Spirit within should work.
Has anyone tried to see if the Tinctures work in the Wildskeeper fights yet?
