it'll be F. Station and F. Bivouac #s so that the numbers can be seen

Decay system sounds terrible. I was really hoping they designed the whole expansion to be a big build up of the world, even if it took 6 months to a year. Once everything was established we could move onto end game type content instead of constent supply runs etc. What will happen in a year or two from now?
It will be like WotG after people stopped caring about campaign. Icelands always under beastmen control and sometimes most of the zones besides towns under beastmen control.
I realized bivouacs could disappear if left without supplies for long enough, but I was hoping it would take a long longer than that for them to go. it's a pain just running to Biv #1 in ceizak as it is, let alone running to the rest of them just to make sure they don't disppear
Part of the problem is that running supplies out gives a third of the points of the most efficient rank 1 op (Mummer's Coalition), 1200 vs. ~3300. Who would want to waste their tags on something which is a much bigger pain in the ass for less reward?
You could have said 2 or 3 since theyre atleast behind reives and grant the same xp as running to 01...but running to Biv 01 is a pain? Thats just lazy
The "long term major" reward is having the waypoint there.
And if you're having problems finding the Lost Article, unless you're fleehacking through the entire zone, that has potential to be a much bigger pain in the ass, especially going with multiple characters.
Wow already broke a bivouac over here... seriously if they breaking this easily with everyone still in shiny new expansion mod and we can't get above 25%... this is going to fail worse then campaign
Doing reives has nothing to do with keeping biovouacs intact. Last night before Siren's broke I was in an alliance defeating all reives in Yahse as they spawned for ~2 hours.
I'm running to #2 in Yahse now to get it back up, and it's certainly more trouble than teleporting around in Ceizak looking at my map and checking off the 5 possible points it could be. No matter which BV you go to they all give the same crappy amount of points. You really think people will want to work for the benefit of the community to the exclusion of short term personal benefit? I think you give them too much credit.
Its also retarded that you can't use waypoints to deliver supplies.
I understand they dont want it to be piss easy, but god damn.
It seems kind of silly that we can't at least have a one-way port to Bivouacs that aren't up. We've had that kind of option as early as the conquest days with our outpost warps. And Aht Urhgan utilized a reversed method, but still had the one-way option available when missing the Candescence. WotG even had a back-up porter when beastmen owned a Fortification for ports to and from town.
doesn't bivouacs help increase colonization cap tho?
Yeah, I know it's lazy, but went you can take waypoints for all other assignments and there's a waypoint every 15 yalms in town, it's hard not to get conditioned like that. It's mostly a pain because half the time the reive is up blocking the shorter path so you have to go around the bottom half of the zone to get to it. Doesn't stop me from doing it every day however, so I guess we'll always have #1 at least.
I thought my quotation marks would have implied sarcasm...you know

I'm fully aware that reives dont keep bivouacs up, I dont know where you got that idea from my post. I said biv 2 and 3 are BEHIND reives, meaning it CAN be a hassle to get to them, whereas biv01 in ceizak is neither past aggressive mobs (except for one potential mantis) or hindered by reives (theres one, but if its up, you can run a bit further south and then hold right wall)
Thats the current speculation since Ceizak/Yahse finally got past 11 when the Bivouacs started forming.
The part about reives not keeping bivouacs up wasn't directed at you, just a general complaint. As for the sarcasm woosh, well! I guess that's on me.
Honestly I think they need to let us use waypoints to deliver supplies. Running out to a remote point like Bivouacs 3, 4, or 5 in Morimar is going to be an absolute nightmare (there's no way around Reives and they're very far out into the zone) without some form of teleportation, and I can easily see a majority of people not even bothering with them as a result. It doesn't help that we have no real idea if 1 or 3 tags makes any difference toward the supply count for a camp compared to each other, so those of us who want to do this as efficiently as possible have to make the run three times a day.
Did any server get Inventor's Emblem this week? (Arcane Glyptic Materials) Or any speculation to what it will do? Sitting at Rank 1 on Shiva, unlocking the craft rings.
according to JP wiki, the returns are all identical

but they could have just assumed that the missions are there and the reward would be the same.
The worst part about the couriers assignments is the NPC with 25% movement speed for 10 Bayld after getting signboard. You'd think the whole point of that would be to do supply runs more efficiently/effectively considering it comes from Couriers, but the buff only works in town. Arguably the most useless of all coalition upgrades, considering the existence of waypoints.
