It's rather difficult to achieve that when you have 5/5 Karimorons afk-fighting roots

Ohh, I wrote a long post explaining this but pressed go advanced and it disappeared...
You are simply wrong. It's easy to test out as a group.
Exp = What the evaluation is worth.
Bayld = Your contribution.
Exp will be the same for everyone, ask around. While Bayld is different for everyone.
Don't count initial evaluations if you jump in mid match or people who missed one, because then it get's piled up on the next evaluation.
Got it backwards.
Exp = personal eval. Scales to infinity, or some unknown max (personal highest mid 2200s in 1 tic from 4x MS+FC against 2-3 enemies and 3 roots).
Bayld = obstacle damage. Lots of misinformed/ignorant people at reives that make an ass of themselves shouting to stop damage on roots, when in realility, low damage on roots makes for a terrible bayld farming experience. Sure, sometimes during prime times (JP specially) when a reive is over in 3 minutes, it can suck, but generally speaking you want a solid amount of damage on them.
Its possible for exp > bayld due to you contributing to the reive more than what the obstacle is taking in damage. Its not possible for bayld > exp. Quite commonly, exp = bayld, if the roots are taking massive amounts of damage and you're just not contributing enough to the reive. Other than some coincidence (joining late), I've yet to experience anyone in a group obtaining the same exp but not the same bayld. Typically, they're getting the same bayld due to low root damage (which is what you'd see in the example you gave) since low mans without buffs or heavy DDs lack the DD to get the numbers very high.
So which is the best way to make more bayld? By hitting the roots or the adds?
TBH both. Standing on the frontlines AoEing has earned me my best personally. If there's enough on roots to get good tics, you'll cap easier by hitting mobs since they take more damage. They also die very quickly though, so relying completely on them can short yourself on targets quickly.
I meant if you were asking if it talked about each one by their name. And the first option in the list is something like fearsome foes or whatever and if you click on it it will say the naakual of that region is blah. When I checked it a couple of days ago that was the only thing in any zone at 1
managed to get a breather from exams so i updated my colonization maps for Ceizak/Yahse. more HELM points and i marked down that last lair reive in Yahse lol.
The 7th Naakual will most likely be one of those where you need to unlock it. My guess is that you have to defeat the other 6 through wildskeeper reives to gain access to the 7th. Either that or there is going to be an endgame area that is unlocked via missions separate from colonization and you will fight the last Naakual there.
Not stated as far as I've seen. Foret is now 4/4 and 30% and it seems to of just unlocked Spoils lvl 1.
Have you completed a Naakual? I've yet to, and my only options are Enemy Numbers, Natural Hindrances, Gathering, and Spoils. And if you did complete it, FFS invite me next time lol. I've asked multiple LSs, friends, even shouted, and so many seem clueless about Naakuals.Originally Posted by dasva

Ok, so I'm curious now
Bayld cap is based on the damage that was done to roots between evaluations, right?
Right. Exceed that cap via personal eval (DD on anything, healing, taking damage, etc) and you'll see your exp surpass the bayld on that tic, but everyone that received that tic received the same amount of bayld, unless they failed to hit that cap, then their exp and bayld will be equal.
So theoretically, if bayld cap is based on damage done to roots between evals...every single root should give roughly the same amount of fixed bayld every time theyre destroyed, correct (presuming you've done enough to hit evaluation every time)?
So I gotta ask, is there a summary of reive unity effects? Like, what they do and how potent they are?
All I've managed to note is that Max HP/MP Boost seems to be at most a flat 3% boost, unless the number doesn't allow a precise % increase, it'll round down, so most cases you'll see .0288 or .029x.
inb4 7th naakual is Odin
Nope in fact when I looked I didn't even have the mission.
Ah I just checked it's not up for every zone now just the ones I think the Naakuals are up. Anys if you look under foret its at 1 momimar is 1 ceizak is 2 and yahse doesn't have it now. Number says "The Naakul protecting Ceizak battleground is begining to tire"... if anyone on bahamut could check to see if that has to do with it dieing....? Maybe Yahse is dead? Idk
