still can't get over the curve on those costs
The Blink Aura of Colkhab is gained only after Droning Whirlwind, it lasts about 3 min and stunning the move does not prevent the Aura from appearing. It seem to have between 800,000 and 900,000 HP and to take 1/2 damage from Dark/Water/Thunder and 100% from Fire/Ice attacks.
How are people approaching the Wildskeeper reives? Going solo then waiting for the area to fill up, or shouting for a few groups before going? I've noticed that for the last week there have been no Wildskeeper shouts and am slightly worried about going in solo, then nobody appearing.
If I understand correctly your time in the zone is infinite so long as the Naakul doesn't die?
Shouting, to get at least a full Alli to start is good.
People slowly roll in while you're fighting.
Your time is infinite, regardless of whether you kill or not.
Your 'reive' status wears off after you beat him, after than you no longer have Reive status, so being there is useless other than screenshots.
I left my character at Tchakka last night after the win, went to bed, woke up and I could then walk around freely in the area. It's just like any other reive mobs, when you don't have reive status. They can't agro you, you can't act on them and I don't believe their AoE's hit you either.
The new insta items aren't that great. I posted in the math forum earlier but Insta protect gave me 75 def. Guess it's sweet for low levels since its a static amount regardless of level, with static duration of 30m.
To me it sounds more like there would be more of them, lowered repop time. Cultivating the land makes it more fertile, not less fertile. Makes no sense that it would lower repop time. While Gathering is less clear to me, as it says "The various gathering locations in the Ceizak Battlegrounds are being cultivated quickly!" Which sounds more like there'd be less of them, or perhaps moving location quicker.
Personally I believe all of them are "buffs" in one way or another. Spoils increase drop rate and/or HELM results, gathering increases HELM repop rate and/or numbers, enemy numbers increase lair repop rate and/or strength, natural hindrance increases colonization repop and/or strength.
While the last 2 can be considered "bad" on the one hand since it means more enemies, it also means more points from reives.
Has there been any hints of increased colonization eventually lowering the normal monster level in some areas (in turn making some of the more basic quest content more easily accessible)? It would be nice if there were some EM or lower monsters to fight rather than everything being tough+. I guess they could also achieve similar results via the already-in-place ionis buffs becoming stronger with the next coalition tiers.
I probably just never noticed before, but while doing a "gather materials" assignment for the pioneer's col. I saw like 3 logging spots up in the same area at the same time. Around the F-8/F-7 square surrounded by ladybugs. So it's possible there was more logging points than there used to be. I don't remember the col. % at the time, pretty sure it was something over 50% though.
Is there any explanation on how exactly those cultivating and spoils level increase overall?
Has anyone noticed anything weird about reive sizes? Like I was testing the edge of one just now backed away 1 yalm at time. Got message then ran back in 10 and still got kicked... <.<
I've never noticed. If I'm inching out to the edge (if i'm weakened, for example), I can always get back in by reversing slightly when i see the message happen.
Someone in my linkshell had the same thing happen. He walked in and didnt even move and got kicked, seems like a bug.
Hmmm maybe it's something like that. Maybe the edge slightly varies some?
Reive area seems to be about an 18-20 yalm radius from the "goal" I don't remember the exact distance, but it's less than 20 for sure.
I think this is more an issue with the technology behind systems like that, ANMs and VW.
It's probably a very bad technology highly dependant on sever<>client communication and reliant on the quality of your own connection/latency.
I know that me and other LS members used to have that issue, seldomly, in VW too.
The reives in Foret are 17' from the Palm.
I would imagine it's always a set distance from the obstacle, but since there are three obstacles, it's probably a set distance from the closest obstacle. Perhaps one is getting destroyed and changing the range on you unexpectedly.
