If you are assuming R/E sam is only using shoha then urdoinitwrong. Koga is still a mile ahead of the Sam skirmish weapon also (Cor closes the gap some but Koga still comfortable winner).

The GS is going to come down to how well you are playing, if you are 2 boxing or generally sucking at WSing on time (or any places you are afflicted with amnesia on a regular basis) then Rag is still going to win, otherwise the skirmish GS will. Unfortunately those types of things aren't really quantifiable

Well, Rag also still has a shitton of acc over it, 14% crit rate, and odd which is pretty significant.

Did you try mura or twilight scythe on the nakuul? Could be why they nerfed twilight scythe after all, don't want army of darks hitting i for full dmg. But then again an army of monks could do the same thing.

I am softening on the Skirmish weapons but the biggest problem I'm still having is not that they're stronger than RMEs, but rather the activities involved in getting the entry items are the least amount of fun I've had with FFXI at least since Trial of the Magians came out. The actual power of the weapons just ensures I can't ignore them, which I would almost certainly be doing otherwise.

1% is overrated. im at least 20 stacks of pickaxe with max mining gear and pioneer pants, i break my axe very very rarely and also have good rate on digging something (lots of junk but also means more chance to "trigger" a part since each success counts)

i would say im at least 0/800, earned 8-9m worth of rhodium/molyb ores

Bought 50 soul spectacles, how do they work? just click them with the pyre targeted?

Trade them to pyres as if they were keys, it'll give you the hint you would have gotten if you had used the option on the pyre itself.

Maybe Naakuls will drop the higher tier statue parts like IV and V at a high rate.

I sadly have the feeling that they expect us to use the obsidian fragments you win from the fight to buy the higher tier parts

The statue NPC only sells you ones that you, or the people who were in your party for the skirmish, used to enter the instance.

Edit: later posts reveal this may not be true, probably coincidence that the ones we traded happened to be the same type he also offers you to buy.

shit is difficult to open.... make sure whoever out there bring soul specs... dont waste them.....

they are sensitive like 0.1 yalm = 5% distortion

not all tho but if u encounter shitty ones, u gotta be near impossible to get in 5 attempts, i can open 99% of them without specs, but this one took me a while
