Morimar frequently has 50+ people in the zone, especially during jp times. There is only 6 pyres in dats for each zone. Morimar is generally a terrible one to farm in, whereas in Cirdas you can often find yourselves being the only group in the zone.

Oh there were only 9 peeps there when I farmed morimar, usualy solo mining bots afk in front of their rocks. Been only one in rala alot too, still crappy pyres often.
And how are you failing so much on opening em athars? I carry like 99 spectacles, not risking losing any peices lol.
i cleave on bridges
sometimes the opening point is on a bad spot where i can never reach, eg. mob somehow got below the bridge as it die(wtf?) or mobs die on top of the side rails where i cannot get in line with them(wtf again?).....
and also sometimes 2 pyre spawn on top of one another.... i lost 1 becaue my SCH checked it as a part, but when i sleepga and use spec on it with my main, i ended up wasting and opening the other one with bayld... and when i realised and re-try, it was too late not enough time
learnt my lesson and always tab cycle at least 1 round to count number of popped pyre properly and destroyed baylds when a part is present...
i got a total of 13 parts on me now, gotten 1-2 each a day on vacation(got 3 yest :D). Failed opening like 4 of them. Have not gotten any cirdas visage :\ (failed 1)
i got a torso earlier on first green and left zone for assignments, stalked my competitor for 1ish hr as hes also in rala and always leave zone after he got a part like me as well (we /tell often on progress so we dont cockblock each other). he left 1hr 30 mins later and i asked if he got a part, he didnt so i rushed back in and cleaved for 45 mins before my first green pop
LAUAN LOG. so either both of us were unlucky this cycle and someone else soloing got that green(been /sea area always and didnt see any farming grps), or this is just out of the window bullshit luck as usual. This system is so hard to figure XD
the first green is kinda a good bet for people interested in farming pyres but its not a 100% condition, just a very good lead. I have been only casual cleaving to check first green 3-4 times a day regardless of number of people in rala(shitty laptop and very limited playtime so i hardly ever change zones unless i got a part and do assignments.....didnt have ionis most of time too)
Wonder if they will fix the whole impossible to open ones...
okok, hear me out, and before anyone (specifically those named Fake) go off a tangent calling me an idiot retard, remember this is SE were talking about:
Do you think its possible that if a Pyre loads and its determined distance/direction places it in a spot that players cant reach, it just fails to load it? mdk, while being pchan's BFFEAEAEAEAEAEAE therefor prone to exaggerating shit, claims to get a better pyre rate 1 by 1, as opposed to people cleaving. If you're cleaving multiple mobs, you're going to have to most likely stack them on a wall so every hit gets ochained, right?
I doubt it because you can get Pyres where it's physically impossible to obtain them due to terrain.
.
spectacles do open them aahaha, you just need a bunch!
I always try to pull shit to center of the room anyways.
Maybe it's like 50% chance to get a peice, 50% to get junk when you do get an item?
Those of you "cleaving" stuff, what job are you on and how exactly are you doing it? It seems pointless to try and farm for skirmish entry items in ceizak or yahse since they're almost always very crowded. I've seen enough left-behind pyres in those zones to write them off entirely, but from what I've seen, the opponents in every other zone are VT or higher. Based on my experience fighting them, I'm curious as to how someone can survive an encounter with several of them at the same time.
woke up! no one in rala for past like 2 hrs? so i decide to cleave
first green cirdas visage II ^^ finally 1 cirdas head :D
gotta love NA nights and JP mornings
also u dont need ochains for cleaving but if u dont have an ochain, u will need a good sch with good phalanx and regen V
Wonder if blu could too....
blu absolutely could, just might run into mp issues.
I do it with war, either cata or fell cleave. Sch to phalanx, regen and heal me.
The stuff in rala are toughs. But i've kill VTs as well in the other zones no problems. They just die a bit slower. don't need to line em up either since not relying on shield blocks to live. Depends what you fight too, some mobs have strong TP moves that can jack you up if they do them all at the same time, which they tend to do when cleaving.
arent wars relying on retaliation for TP though, so lining up mobs would be equally important (for rapid TP gain mostly, not survival important)?
Yeah mp would suck but can always steal some
