No, no limits far as I can tell. I did it just fine on my mule that was lvl 19...I'd done the subjob quest but that was about it far as I can recall.

Funny thing, you can get the warp runes in adoulin, warp to Kazham without ever having gotten your airship pass. And you could get stuck there, except that you could get 50 points from FoV to use repatriation.

Edit: and that was just doing the quest, not paying the 1m. Already had the tele-mea crag so just teleported, s/i thru Maze, deathwarp back to jeuno.

Something that just occurred to me is that there might be some differences between outside field areas (Ceizak/Yahse etc.) and Rala. While the Scouts info NPC lists colinization info such as spoils and mobs upgrade levels, Rala doesn't seem to be included in the colonization system the same way. It has no % and isn't included in the upgrading info. So how exactly is Rala treated in regards to those things? It could be that Rala just has its own set "normal" drop rates which maybe affects the amount of Skirmish items that drop.

I did 3 cirdas visage I runs. all times the same map, same mobs, same positions. But the run with legI had only one ascenssion (same positions for the ascension too).

Also confirming legs I= no map, not that it matters, the map is useless anyway. We got SMN staff, RNG bow, polearm, daggers, H2H, Great katana. Never seen a +2 stone from Visage I, the only +2 stones I've ever seen is from VisageII. Got a few +1 stones from visage I.

Likely MAB/MDB/Defense. It seems that tier II legs Noetic Ascensions simply add map as an option, and plop an additional ascension somewhere. I'm guessing more options open with each rank. Has anyone used tier III or higher Faithful Legs and remember what options they had for ascension buffs?

Also, for people who have done/are doing Skirmish runs, can you reference my two maps and let me know which subsection(s) of the map your run took place on? I'm thinking that the area you do your run on is not random, it's just a set subdivision of the entire zone, the size of which is determined by the tier of body you use. For example, Cambion said a Rala run using a tier I body was maps 12, 13, and 14. I'm fairly certain the Rala tier V body run I did was the entire map. I know it's hard to judge without the map being viewable, but Rala is pretty easy to figure out based on room layouts and path options. Cirdas is a lot harder to figure out since it's all winding tunnels, but some rooms still have certain giveaway characteristics.

That sounds plausible to me. One way to figure out which map you wind up on without having the map is that it can be deduced from seeing the <pos> of where you enter the instance. Then note it down and take some other key <pos> where there are noteworthy features like dead ends or big rooms. Then just compare them to the instance maps on BGWiki and see which one it matches. Although be careful because as noted one map can go onto another which will then use its own position grid.

Ok, update of the day

Took small group of 3 of us down to Moh. There were a few people (7 total) in zone. At first we werent getting any pyres at all so we zoned out and went to Morimar until Moh cleared empty. We went back inside and after about 10 mins we got our first pyre (vanadium ore) at 2:38 central. I kept up with every pyre after that. We got pyres at 2:38, 2:52, 2:59, 3:05, 3:06, 3:20 all were bayld. At 3:38 on the dot we got another green which was Faithful Legs II (didnt get cuz out of specs, only brought 13). 7 minutes until 1hour is up for 4:38 try, gonna head back, nobody has been in zone since we left.

The other three options were almost certainly Defense, Magic Attack, and Magic Defense.

Can you actually get II-V's in Rala? so far I've got 4x I's (in like 3 weeks...) -_-... 0 from Coalitions and do them w/ 3 characters... I hope SE check it coz it sucks to complete a set..

the rewards are so good, im sure SE made simulacrum part scompletly random and ultrarare, and expects us to buy them from the AH. It'd surprise me if sqirmish gave away for free weapons superior to R/E/M.

Haven't read of any reports of such. A server got Inventor's to 3 today and it provides NQ stone for 50 frags, +1 for 1k frags, and +2 for 9,800 frags. No mention of weapons that I know of.

this may be really dated information, but pyres definitely seem to function on 0.5s in distance and only straight directions, aka N S E W

I had a pyre 30% from a direction at 4.0, and going to 5.5 (30% in 0.5's) got the item.

Tolerance seems to vary greatly with the kind of item inside. Bayld and logs are very easy to get out. The tolerance on stuff like skirmish items appears to be much lower.

Has it been discussed that 1/2 the weapons drop from Cirdas, and the other half drop from Rala?
