There was a segment on The Daily Show on Thursday on the border crisis, about the children hopping over illegally. It was pretty damn "Silly Shit Politicians Say".

To be fair to the kids, the turkey pardoning ceremony is the most ridiculous tradition in the white house. If someone told me I had to be present for it, I'd tell them to get fucked. They don't have that luxury, unfortunately.

Obama said that as a former senator himself, he understood how outside forces -- like special interests and donors -- can influence senators to act, one of the senators recounted.
