iPhone text/MMS back up/rips

Just replaced my iPhone 4 with a 5 after I shattered the screen. Looking to be able to get some pictures from text conversations that happened a year or more ago, and it's a hassle to hit load constantly.

Is there anyway to back them up to some sorta database or anything? they're nudes btw.

ha, and get snooping girls to find other girls pictures?

Anyways most of them came through as iMessages and for some reason I couldn't get them to back up. ended up figuring I needed to jailbreak it and now just copied over all my attachments via iFunBox.

Just do a regular backup of your phone, and use an app like JuicePhone to extract the backup into "real" files. SMS messages will be in .db form that can be read with a xml reader, and all SMS attachments will be in their own folder; along with photos, voicemail, photostream and other data.
