Only shit DE's vaulted with Warframe to my recollection were just the one-off Operation events (which usually act as a prelude to the next big update), and flat out removing the two Trials (which I liked) because shit kept breaking every other update with however the frick those were scripted/network-sync'd. As much as my group had a decent laugh doing Law of Retribution after the Earth tileset revamp and noticing half of the map's ground was flat out missing since a chunk of the old assets that map relied on didn't exist anymore.
Everything else comes back on a scheduled'ish rotation, like 'vaulted' relics, and recurring events like plague star. That said Warframe's assets are pretty fucking optimized given the majority of it is designed to be modular. 36gb after all these years, and that was after they shaved it down from 50gb-something by replacing the majority of the textures/sound files with new versions using modern compression tech, so they're not really hurting to cheat the install size down like Destiny 2 did with removing planets.
Hopefully Soulframe doesn't fall victim to the same issues that plague Warframe to this day, namely its power creep problem and focus on visuals over clarity (thanks for forcing the fancy shadows/lighting last year DE...). It needs a better foundation for growth that doesn't go into stupid territory once you put about 30 hours into the game. But yeah, Tennocon was real slim this year, and it's obvious to me that it was due to the studio's devs being split between the two games now. Least they have an excuse for that second office now.
