    The Place Beyond The Pines: RT: 81% MC: 66 (user:8.3)

    Didn't see a post for this and am very interested in seeing this. Wiki states it's release date was 3/29/13 but Focus Films says 4/12/13. I've seen only one commercial for this movie. Michigan is only getting it in 6 theaters it seems.

    Initial reviews are in and most seem good if not great. After reading the reviews on RT and how many of the bad reviews by critics are pretty thoughtless I'm wondering why I'm not a "professional" movie reviewer! I'm broke as a joke right now so someone go see this movie and tell us how it is!

    Good to hear. While it seems every trailer gets the "movie of the year/must see/instant classic" treatment this has had some very very good reviews. For myself, I hope it lives up to the hype.
