Within the last year or so our sprint 3g speeds have dropped terribly. During the day I'm averaging 20-30kbps and the only time I can break 100kpbs is between midnight and early morning, and even when that happens its usually only 150kbps - 200kbps.

So i'm maxing out at about 1/3rd of their slowest advertised 3g speeds(600kpbs)This seems like abnormally bad speeds to me. Is there anything I can do on my end to improve the connection? I've read alot online and it seems like calling customer service accomplishes nothing other than frustration as you get transferred between different people who all tell you there is nothing they can do to help.

Whats the point of having unlimited data when your speeds are so abysmal that you can't even make use of it?

Anyone experiencing the same problems with sprints 3g speeds? I live about an hour north of NYC in westchester county. It's pretty much the same speeds for a 50 mi radius in all directions, unless I manage to pick up a 4g tower, which are extremely few and far between.

For instance right now: 830am I'm getting 130kbps consistently, but thats as high as it will go. When people start waking up and using the network it will drop to 20kpbs.

Forgot to say I'm using android 4.1.2 on a note 2
