Good shit stubby.
As for me i need to start concentrating on getting my lower back muscles to show. I know its mostly diet but i have a strong lower back but it just does not want to show. Ah well, time to add a few more workouts.
Hmmm, we all have been talking about good gym workouts but what is everyone's favorite warm up routine? I ask because i am looking for different stretches/routines.
I will go into much more detail later but for me it would be:
5 minute jog
Box jumps
Jumping Jacks
Arm/back stretches
various leg stretches (make sure i can put palm on floor and knuckles can go past my toes when sitting down stretching forward.)
This is pretty much all i do for the stretching, takes me just under 20 minutes. Want to try and maintain a high level of flexibility.

I shoot basketball for 10-15 minutes, stationary bike if I can't
then I do the squat stretches from t-nation I posted a few pages back. it is da bes
Before gym just a 1minfast walk, then 4 min jog, then 1 min fast walk.
Before hitting the bags I'll do 3, 7, 10, 14 standing (high knees), 15 on your chart, along with touchin the toes, bending over backwards and side to side, roll out the neck, and a couple of ATG squats.
1 mile run
10 x 5 Deadlift (205lbs)
10min EMOTM of:
A) 5x Power Snatch (75lbs)
B) 5x 30" Box Jump
Doesn't sound like much, but everyone was dying at the end of it. EMOTM is "every minute on the minute"; so you end up doing 50 power snatch / 50 box jumps. I have a lot of trouble with snatch / OH squat; power snatch is not that bad, but I'm still not great at it. I'll take front / back squat any day.
And I am proud of myself for even getting a workout in after drinking until 3 AM last night after the Nats game.
Everything is just not going my way in terms of this competition. Lost out on my bike miles yesterday due to a flat, then paid 70 between getting a new tire, a new tube, and a series of spare tubes, and got my bike stolen today, so didn't get half of my biking in either, and now I don't have a fucking bike anymore
Holy shit dude, that really sucks.
Can you at least return what you just bought?
Not really. The couple spare tubes, sure but the tire is what was expensive, which they got along with my bike.
Damn dude, don't know what to say. Know what your going to do next?
nope
Sorry to hear that CS... man, that sucks.
I definitely should be doing more than I actually do, but for the most part I only do about ~5 minutes of dynamic stretching and different body motions (depending on the routine for the day). Arm circles/overhead press/shoulder shrugs&rotations (w/5lb plate), high knees, air squats, etc.
To many people slacking off! Pictures and or work out logs are to be posted for second week update this Sunday!
Until I get a new bike, I'm pretty much fucked in terms of competing. Won't have gym access until I get another one really in addition to getting no bike miles (from doing 150-200/week)
oh there's no plans on dropping out. Just fucked for sure for the 2 week update. Might just skip it tbh and come back at the halfway point
You must complete the circle and in turn steal a bike yourself, it is the only way to set the universe in balance CS.
Went to the gym last night and did 5 miles on the treadmill before going home since it was late. Today is biceps and back day, gonna try those drag curls Milk posted and see how they feel. Got new shoes too with better heel support so jogging doesn't make my shins feel like they are shattering apart which is nice.
