Jenny and me was like peas and carrots again.
I hate when I eat and I'm hungry again right away, that's my biggest issue with food. I have been working really hard on it. It also helps (the not eating so much cause) that I'm broke as a joke lately and I can only buy exactly enough food for my two-week pay period.
Now if only I could stop getting people at work to buy me shit, and even when I decline they're all insistent upon it too. "NO I AM GOING TO BUY YOU THIS FROSTY YOU KNOW YOU WANT IT." Yes, I do fucking want it but I am trying to eat better so stop it! Thanks but no thanks people. It works sometimes. Sometimes even after I'm sure they understand that no means no, they still come back with an extra and, "Oh I guess you might as well have this one..." and since I'm so super cheap I can't stand to see anything go to waste I will eat it. And they know it. :/
Soon I will not be working with these guys though, so hopefully that will stop.
I'm thinking bike ride today. Tuesday's usually a run day. I'm not sure if I'm feeling it today.
This is what I hate about southern folk. I met a girl from the south that bought food she couldn't finish and no matter how many times I insisted I was fine, she kept persisting til I insisted I needed to go. I mean it's nice but nigga I said no, leave me the fuck alone.
Be more firm, tell them your on a strict diet regiment and this will destroy it or something similar. Or if that does not work, kick them in the crotch and run!
They're coworkers and I like having a job.
If I could get away with that, I'd totally do it though. I keep telling them I am losing weight and I want to keep it that way but they fucking fully ignore me. It is irritating. No means no, it's like food rape.
Sorry to say, but it all comes down on you. They can't force feed you. Or else you will never reach your goals.
Can just take there food and put in the fridge and forget about it. Throw it away with them in front of you. Scream loudly. Or write them a note to "FUCK OFF".
Edit: Would be funny if you got a whistle and started blowing it frantically for every time someone offered you food.
Rape whistle, lmao!
They are learning. It is just frustrating to keep having to say no. I wish that when I said, "I don't want any, don't even ask," they would just leave it there. If they just order pizza and leave it sitting I can ignore it, it's when they offer to buy me something directly for me and I say no and they still buy me something that I have trouble, it seems rude to turn it down. It must be my upbringing. But we are all getting better at it. Me and them.![]()
Thats cool, but your enabling them every time you accept something after they buy it. Just sayin.
Eat foods with higher protein, protein is what makes you feel full and tells your body to stop eating (mostly). Get that crock pot out and start making some chicken, stews, brown rice, etc....
Can also train the metabolism to become faster, by eating similar caloric foods (small portions) 5-6 times a day but that takes a lot of time to prepare and plan so its hard to do in the long run. Protein shakes are considered meal re-placer and can help with cravings inbetween meals.
Welp time for me to go to the gym.
For everyone else, what music are you listening to while working out? I need new tunes, i will post what i listen to when i get back from the gym.
I listen to showtunes, it sounds silly but they really get me going.
Okay, I wasn't feeling it but I made a promise that I was going to do this for myself and even when I'm not up for it (unless hurt or ill) I need to take my ass out and be active or I will lose the progress I've made, so I did it.
Spoiler: show
I am going to play WoW for a bit to unwind, then shower, then sleep, and if I get back up before it's light out, I'm going to go to the pool today.
All I have to say is I am making progress and it seems so unquantifiable but I feel it. And the more I make progress the less it sucks and the less it sucks the more I go out and make progress. So I am not giving up. Thanks so much for this thread. It's helping me out a lot. Even if only one person reads and/or cares about my chubby-girl workouts, I feel better about myself now.
Also, when I run my first nonstop mile in ten years, I am going to celebrate like no one's business. I don't care if it takes me 25 minutes, I am going to be thrilled.
Keep up the great work. You can do it
As for me, I felt so guilty last night. Ate an entire container of jello. Even though it's mostly water and it was only 250 calories and I was under target calories. I pretty much inhaled it. (8 30 calorie servings or something, destroyed it all)
That is awesome Aksannyi, way to push yourself! Just stick to it and before you know it you will be running a 7 minute mile!
Running a mile straight after so long would definitely deserve a beer.
No pressure but i am sure we are all going to be waiting to hear the news when you do!
I'd tape it but

Your not the only one, i went drinking with some friends and nearly got a DUI, not to mention the bartender gave us free shots + samples of their moonshine. So all those empty calories and a day missed because of a horrible hangover the next day. As you can imagine i hit the gym again hard and added a few cardio routines now.
I missed out on the DUI because i stopped drinking roughly 2 hours before everyone else since i was driving and blew a 0.05 (0.08 is the limit)on the breathalyzer when i was pulled over for a traffic violation. All i can say is I love my liver because i can't imagine anyone else metabolizing that much alcohol that fast.
by the way, jello is my new to go to snack.
Going to try the sugar free ones for even less calories. I just add drink flavoring (Mio or Koolaid 0 calorie liquid drink mix) to the water and holy shit the jello comes out amazing.
