    Hello everybody.

I will be posting pics tonight...

My workout routine is simple for now. I'm doing the Insanity workout now and just started week 2 of 9. Simultaneously, on weekdays I am rotating between doing pull-ups, push-ups, and lunges and I do as many as I can that day. For instance, I did the 40 min Insanity workout today and now I'm doing as many pull-ups as I can today. On Saturday, I'll lift weights and focus on doing front squats, dead lifts, weighted dips, and weighted pull-ups.

Here is a list of the supplements I take. Creatine is the only one I have been taking consistently lately.

    Optimum Glutamine: $#$#bodybuilding.com/store/opt/glut.html
    Muscletech Phase 8, Chocolate: $#$#bodybuilding.com/store/muscletech/phase8.html
    Beast Creature Creatine, Orange: $#$#.bodybuilding.com/store/beast/creature-powder.html
    Amino Energy, Watermelon: $#$#bodybuilding.com/store/opt/essential-amino-energy.html
    Generic Fish oil
    Generic Mens Multi

My goal for the next 2 months is to lean down without loosing too much strength.

Let's all make some Big Gainz and reach our health and fitness goals!

You need 10 posts before you can post pics, so either check out general or entertainment (seems like 2 you'd find worthy topics in) get in some threads and get to posting

Holy crap RKenshin, can only imagine what your gonna look like when you cut down.

As for everybody else, i have an idea on what to do for the 2 week intervals so just worry about posting your initial pics/logs and concentrate on improving!

While the competition started today, i have no qualms with others joining in until the end of this week so the 20th will be the lock out date. JOIN UP and become motivated!

    Weight: 156.4 lbs
    Waist: 29.5
    Hips: 37
    Arms: 14.25-14.5
Forearm(so saddening, I only measured one of them): 10.5
Calves(From the highest peak, but still a lot larger than what I thought considering how they they look in comparison to my upper body. Was quite surprised): 15~15.15 inches , 11.5 from the center, ignoring the “bulb”
    Quads: 23 inches
    Chest: 38.5 inches

Aside from lulforearms, not bad for 156 lbs

RKenshin may have me beat for now, but when he cuts down, we'll see who keeps their ass and who just had a bit of extra jiggle during their bulk!

P.S. Taking those measurements was every bit of difficult as I thought it was going to be doing it by myself

decided against posting pics, Maybe I'll post some halfway or at the end for comparison.

    for weight measurements;

Jan 2013 i was 296lbs (nearly reaching 300lbs was the turning point for me lol)
This morning i weighed in at 274.6. So I've already lost 20lbs since Jan, and that was with NO running lol. Hoping to lose another 20-30 by the end of the competition.
    edit- Height is at 5'11~6'

so first day is officially over for me, pushed myself hard as hell at gym, today was chest day but i threw in some biceps cause i haven't done that in over a week (slippin) started doing pushups during my rest break inbetween my final sets, ended up hitting muscle failure after 3rd set on pushup #6 which was my goal. (hitting muscle failure @ the gym)

as for running, i ran BEFORE my workout on the treadmill, simply because of time issues and i knew i wasn't going to run after i had my meal of the day. plus it kind of made it easy to track my time. made a 14min mile for day 1 kind of sad, but at least i definitely know i can beat that lol.

You should take pics for yourself and then compare for personal use if you do not want to post online. Still i recommend posting pics of your work out log with measurements if you can.

Anyway i just got back from the Gym, starting my new routine and i feel really pumped. Was able to push myself a little more now that i am competing against you people. Can't wait to see peoples progress.

i actually did take the pics, and after reviewing them i changed my mind real quick.

not because I'm big/fat or anything, but because my fucking traps are non existant >.>; it's fucking horrifying lol. I wouldn't even edit my face out and post it' that's how bad it is lol.

Ok so I actually do my logs on my cell with the JeFit app. I used to do paper/pen, but I just kinda prefer the app since it syncs all my lifts/sets to their server and one less thing for me to carry on the gym floor. I can take a picture tomorrow at the gym for the photo confirmation of my workouts.

    Waist 30
    Chest 38.75
    Arms 14.25
    Forearms 11.6
    Shoulders 18.4/ 47circumference
    Hips 36
    Thighs 21.5
    Calves 14.25
    Neck 15.75

    Supplements
    Spoiler: show
    ON Gold Standard Whey
    Beast Creatine
    Scivation Xtend BCAA
Jack3d Pre-workout(currently cycling it off for one more week)
    Fish Oil
    Vitamin C 1000mg
    Men's Multivitamin

My personal goal: Improve overall size and definition. I lost a lot of mass, over the past few years by not going to the gym. Returned Nov 2012.

    Summary of current workout plan:
Legs: I do 4-5 sets first 2-3 sets are lighter weights 10-12reps, then increase for last 2 sets doing 5-6reps.
I hit my back/biceps/delts and my chest/triceps 2x a week. I space those out for one day 5repsx5set heavy weights and the second day i do 8-10repsx4sets
I usually end my workouts with 15 minutes of light cardio.

For a total of 5 gym/weight days. I really have a hard time hitting the gym the 6th day.

I am open to any suggestions on my workouts etc...

I could never stay motivated for something like this, but I am watching this thread with the hopes that it motivates me a little bit to work out more.

Good luck to all of you, you're all winners for participating - as cheesy as that sounds.

It takes roughly 23 days of doing the same thing to become a habit you will have a hard time breaking. Just do a little at a time, every day, even if its something small like parking your car the farthest out in the parking lot. Build upon that and it becomes easier.

I already do that. I just get too lazy to go any further and people at work keep offering to buy me junk and because I'm such a jew I can't turn down free food. :/

It's still dark out and I just worked a 10-hour night. I ran last Tuesday though so I do plan to go back out once I've gotten back up for my day. I just wish I could convince myself to go work out more than once a week, but I guess it's better than nothing.

I promise I will post here once I've gone for my run, that way I'm accountable for it.

Well when you do have that motivation to start working out more, try to hold on to that feeling. Also try and time your runs and the distance, keep trying to go farther and or faster for every run.

Just take the tank off before and take the tank off after. If there's no changes, I'm okay with this
