It's not quite the same as video games make it out to be unless you're adjusted to night sight and get hit with it. For example, if you used a 9-banger you would generally start clearing as soon as it goes off.

According to the local newspaper, they had put him off sedatives because he regained consciousness, but his condition was too serious so they put him back under. Also read he got a bullet wound on the neck.

I'm going to go with doubtful. He was bleeding out, possibly fading in and out of consciousness (I forget if the youtube video with the helicopter footage was in this thread or another). He wasn't even moving at all and they were tossing flashbangs on his face.

Multiple SWAT agencies on site, State PD/NEMLEC/FBI HRT.... I know FBI HRT fired a lot of rounds, unknown for other agencies.
