What's your coalition spread like now? Seems like using imps in multi coalitions is the only way to get the reduction, unsure about total rank ups etc. Mule stopped getting any reductions when I started being lazy and spamming assignments in a Contributor coalition. Meanwhile I'm working towards contributor in all coalitions on my main and still getting reductions. Currently 80k probably close to 75k assuming it doesn't cap.

I just capped a new coalition and i didnt get a reduction.
Im at 85K KIs.
1 Naakual kill.
33 quests done (none repeated)
4 coalitions at contributor level (pioneer, courier, inventor and mummer)
(mightve overdone a few at start, every other colaition should be 60-62 imprimateurs) plus some imprimateurs in peacekeepers

Cant think of anything else, but the whole process of the last coalition done was watched very closely on reductions, plus i did around 15-20 quests on top of the 60 imprimateurs done on that last coalition, im gona start a new coalition now to see if i get a reduction half way, also im gona continue to do quests to see if i can get the exact moment in which i get the reduction.

The effect of (most?) quests seems somewhere between inconsequential and non-existent. I had only done a handful of quests before getting KIs to 95k; the job unlocks, colonization KIs, and a couple of the ones that don't require you leave town. Since than, I've done every other andoulin quest in the game (including repeating a few), and combined with 30+ IMPs worth of coalitions, I'm still at 95k.

I've slacked a bit because of RL business and as a result I kinda lost track of my imprimaturs.
I ***THINK*** this time it took me more than 50 Imprimaturs (eyeballing at around 60?) to get the 80k reduction. If it were for me I'd say I'm bloody sure it took me more than 50 this time, but in the end too much time has passed and I can't really be sure. Later if I can be arsed to get off my lazyness I'll check my previous posts, but I think I got 3 full rank ups since when I got my 85k reduction, so that should mean 60 imprimaturs minimum.

Now I'm spamming Mummer's assignments. Getting to Probationeer wasn't enough to unlock the 80k, but I received it BEFORE getting Disciple. Can we rule out rank then, maybe? Unless there's a hidden rank that takes into account your progression in-between ranks.
I haven't done anything new. No new quest, one or two more different assignments I think (but they weren't enough to trigger the 80k).


Has it been completely ruled out the possibility of there being a time-based pre-requirement? Something that starts the first time you do an assignment, or that resets each time you get a rank up?
Uhm... no, I guess it doesn't make much sense.

Anyone get a reduction below 80K yet? I've had it at 80k for 2 weeks now I think. Starting to think it might cap at 80k but it's possible I just haven't spent enough imps yet since I'm not keeping track.

I was under the impression cap would have been 70k for a total of 6x reduction of 5k.
Did you max up the rank on 5/6 coalitions, Hitou?
With use of imprimaturs from start and not wasting any or spamming them on the same coalition after max rank, it should be possible to be Contributor on 5/6 coalitions by now, no?

I'm contributor in 4 and disciple in 2, but most people should be 5/6 now assuming they didn't waste any imps. I'll check what my price is after I spend them tomorrow.

I've been slackering because of being forced out of town, so I'm still 4/6 contributor, 1/6 Probationeer (close to Disciple), 1/6 Petitioneer.
It was interesting to note that to get my 80k reduction I had to spend (likely) more than 50 imprimaturs this time, and how ranking up to Probationeer wasn't enough and had to spend a few more imprimaturs after that to finally see it drop to 80k.

Wonder what will happen to these reduction. Maybe drop from 5k each to 2,5k each?

I lost 2-3 imps las week as I was out of home for most of the week, and I have still around 9 imps to spend. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be up to date, and maybe hat to rank 3 Mummers. I'll check the KI guy if I rank up, but I doubt I'll get a discount until at least rank 4 Mummers (my last).

Contributor in 5/6, Probationer in Peacekeepers, and still at 80k KI. Have the tags set aside to get it to Disciple, but its annoying to get up compared to others. I'll get it maxed in the coming days and report back on cost if someone else hasn't.

Edit: Thats what I get for not refreshing this topic today lol. Wonder if -20k is our cap for now. If base price is reduced to 50k, I'd be happy with 30k cost for entry. Wonder what other incentives they'll add for us to raise coalition ranks, cause as nice as more bayld/exp is, reducing that KI cost was a real driving force.

I'd still do teh assignments for xp/baldy especially for low lvl jobs but yeah I wouldn't be lvling ranks I'd just be doing the same easy/fast ones over and over lol. Well and maybe trying to see if ergon loci are actually lvlable with any sensible amount of effort

Whether or not -20k Reduction is the cap (I was expecting a -30k but I guess I was wrong), I seriously doubt it's gonna stay that way once they cut Wildkeepers Reive entry fee by half.
Likely they're gonna cut the reduction by half as well.
Altough hey, can't really complain about 40k entry fee, can we?

Hope people will start doing colo reives again, and hope Lair Reives will be easier to solo because bringing Peacekeepers rank up is a pain.
I also hope it will be more viable to solo coloreives in Sih Gates and Moh Gates. I want to get those ergon loci behind but it's really a massive, annoying pain to solo colo reives. Takes literally what, an hour on BST? And can't even go AFK because you need to keep sneak/invi up, sigh

Based on what I saw on the test server, it will be easier to solo lair reives than it already is (i.e. any job can do it instead of just BLU, PUP, BST or SMN.) Colonization reives will be easy to solo as well in the zones they listed, but it will still take a long time to whittle down the roots. Easy enough to get a few friends or shout if you need it for the quest, or ergon locus.
