My wife likes to be in control of everything. That being said, I've attempted to talk about trying some new stuff prior to starting and she normally shuts it down without even giving it a shot. If I do something and I can tell she's enjoying it, then I'll keep going. If I can tell it's just not working I'll switch it up. I've gotten better results by keeping her in the dark a bit.

Mind you, I'm not trying shady shit either. It's not like I'll be like "oops, my finger slipped into the wrong place, my bad", but sometimes the best way of getting her our of her head is to just let her enjoy what I come up with.

Congratulations! We just had our 5th baby (boy) 6 weeks ago. You will have to deal with him interrupting you for at least the next 6 months. Then when he starts crawling and subsequently walking, you will have no time to yourselves except at 6am when he is finally sleeping...then you don't care about sex, just sleep.

Soon. We really wanted a girl. We waited almost 5 years before we tried with our 5th. He will be completely spoiled because he is so much younger than his brothers. I'll be honest and not trying to be an ass but I hope your 5boys are/will be healthy, i don't like when people make kids just to have exemple 2 boys or 2 girls or whatever and that they have unhealthy kids, and they try again just to get their goals

Hey OP thanks for this thread! been wanting to do one myself for a while. The rule of thumb in my house is wifey puts out every 10-14 days depending on her moods. If it goes beyond that she know's i can get to be a pretty big dick. If it happens before that 10day marker i've been a good boy and i get presents. once in a while i will get back to backers but that's few and far between.

I have this problem frequently, except it's some other distraction like the cat being a fucking asshole or doing something he's not supposed to. (I am unfortunately very easily distracted, which explains my posting here from work.)

When I was seeing my bf (was weird situation, long distance, about 3-5 days per visit on average during weekend/vacation time over the course of 6-7 months), we had sex about 3-4 times per day. Married now (about 6 months) and I usually get tired before he does (I start work really early), which results in my falling asleep before he does; so whenever I'm not bleeding, about 3 times during the work week, and about 3-4 times during the weekend. If I'm bleeding, I'll usually offer some other form of happytime. Also, if it's raining or thunderstorming, the guy all horned up so I'm usually getting it more (and harder!) during those times. I do have a very long history of shitty self-esteem, so I think that gets in the way sometimes (although I've been doing much better with that as I've gotten older). Also, I feel like I've been self-conscious about letting him go down on me lately, though I'd much rather go down on him. I've been told that I need to relax many, many times...

I think my husband is hot and want to have sex with him all the time, but I guess it's different when you're married and doing shit like cooking, running errands, etc. together that takes away from the actual sexy time. Per data points, I'm a few years older than my husband, mid-late 20s. I'm not shy about doing different things, I hate it when sex is the same every time. I've also been on the pill for about a year (since before we were married), and we both have no interest in having kids for the moment. I'm mostly using it as a period regulator at this point, and it sucks because I'm positive I've gained weight on it (which hasn't helped my self-esteem issues at all).

I always thought that getting married ruined sex, but in my previous relationship, I hadn't had sex with the guy for a really really long time (about 2 years). Turns out I wasn't really into the guy as much as I thought. Also, when we did have sex, it was boring as shit. He was also quite a bit older than me, which may explain the lack of variety, and subsequent decline in interest. I wasn't on the pill, and we used condoms (which I hated, but sex is not fun when you are paranoid by nature).

This whole thread is totally motivating me to give my hubs a hummer when I get home from work today (I'm on the rag, too, meh)

I'm also interested in the usage of contraception by couples and how it affects couples (adversely or not), who insists on using it (man or woman), etc. I personally think the pill is the best thing to ever happen to my sex life in lessening my constant paranoia, and was completely my decision based on the fact that we both did not want children any time soon.

Nothing like that. We love having kids around the house. Our house is the neighborhood hangout for many of the kids around our neighborhood. We have a great setup for a very fun place. Game consoles, nerf stuff, play structure, trampoline, pool, spare bikes for kids to borrow, longboards and many other toys. It's a great life around our house and our kids are all happy and healthy.

This is actually not true. There are a few things at work that contribute to this but there isn't a chemical or neurological change that somehow makes it so all/most women have higher libido past 30. The reason people say this is because historically men do hit their prime post-30 (not libido wise, but you can still be kingslayer) and it would not be equal to have just men hit their prime.
