The koran (even if this is not its intention) lends itself to weak minded violent people with nothing to live for. Sure theres good muslims in the world.. and sure the religion may have been founded with the right ideals in mind... but its become a breeding ground for militant sects of people who enjoy violence against innocents who simply ar enot of their religion. For that reason i see the "faith" as mor deadly and dangerous than all other religions combined. But sure.. i see the argument that all religion has its radicals and its violent people. This line of thinking does NOT apply to as many of other faiths. Don't know why you would want to argue with him. You won't convince him, since it's pretty clear he has a specific issue with muslims, and once somebody has decided on a target group, very little is gonna sway them away.
