Evolutionary Biology any ideas will help

Alright, so this final is designed to help boost the low class average. That being said, she's given us some essay topics, and we'll get one of the 5 of these, or a combination question containing elements of a few questions.

These are all open ended, and she's basically said she will a list of everything possible and if you have at least half of it, you get an A (will be a pretty big ass list though), if you get most of it, you'll get extra credit, etc.

Describe over-arching themes seen in evolutionary histories. Adaptation strategies. Provide examples and data.

    2) Provide as many paradoxes seen in evolutionary biology as you can. Explain why each represents a pardox. Provide examples and data.

    3) We have seen a variety of evolutionary trade-offs and constraints throughout the course. Describe, explain and provide examples and data. What is the evolutionary outcome of these constraints and trade-offs?

    4) Describe the major patterns of evolution and the evolutionary mechanisms that generate such patterns.

    5) Why is evolution such a driving force in Biology, with implications reaching into all disciplines (cell biology, molecular biology, developmental biology, physiology, etc.).
Basically, I have a few ideas for each of these, but if anyone familiar with these topics can just throw in ideas to expand further on for any of the questions, it'll help with my note making and help my essay be larger and cover a wider range of topics. Really wanting to make every point possible with this one. I need it.

    Thanks

Sorry I'm on my phone at work.. Google "peppered moth evolution" for the first one.. could maybe tie it in to the others as well if you're stumped on one.

Check out wasps. Particularly the parasitoid and hyperparasitoid relationships. Some of them even have an additional factor, symbiotic / parasitic reproductive bacterium ( ie Wolbachia ). I find it to be truly fascinating stuff.

The ichneumon wasps tend to be my favourites in the wasp kingdom.
