I didn't realize how thin down the middle the Hawks are. If Stoll comes back thats a huge advantage for the Kings.
No idea Handzus is their 2nd line center right now. Thats not good, lol.

He's technically their third line center normally, but the lines got shuffled and also Bolland's play was rather unimpressive so he got bumped down.
Yeah, I knew he was really a bottom 6 guy. Just didn't know he was playing in the top 6 right now.
Breaking down the rosters, these teams are really evenly matched.
I think it comes down to how well the Hawks can handle the physical play of LA, and how well LA deals with the Hawks speed game. I'd say you have the edge in goaltending (not to take anything away from Crawford because he's been amazing most of the time and had a few bad goals) and size, but other than that, yeah pretty even match up. You guys seem more like a sit back and wait for a mistake then pounce type of game play, so I dunno. Hawks typically tend to hate to dump and chase, so they're going to have to adjust to that if they want to be successful. That and get better on faceoffs, because we got killed last series, every game we lost, we lost draws by at least 10+ lol.
Both Ryan Callahan and Carl Hagelin had surgery to repair torn labrums today.
Callahan's in particular is semi horrifying because played with that shit since January fucking 29th. Christ.
Also, Wings fans everywhere rejoice: Pavel Datsyuk wants a multi year deal.

Kings are great on the forecheck but arent as great at it as they were last year. Its funny because the Kings are pretty bad at faceoffs right now too which is why Stoll back is huge, lol.
Crawford has been great but LA has the edge in goal because right now, Quick is pretty much the best goaltender in hockey.
While the Rangers don't have much in terms of offense, Quick was amazing last year and is even better this year. He has a cup and a Conn Smythe. Everyone in the NHL will tell you right now that Quick is the best goaltender in the league.
Quick is 21-0 through this year and last years playoffs when the Kings score at least 2 goals. That is a pretty crazy stat.
Also, looks like Walkom will be reffing the Kings-Hawks series, lol.
really though, Quick IS the best goalie in the league the last 2 years.

wouldn't it be hilarious if Quick goes MAF after this "best goalie in the league" comment?
Lost it reading that eulogy when I got to here:
The Leafs one was pretty lame. You signed Jordin Tootoo and Jonas Gustavsson in the same off-season? On purpose?
