I thought Vokoun played well. The first goal was just painful. Paul Martin needs to clear the lane so there's a clear view of the puck coming in. The Pens didn't do well clearing the crease and limiting Boston's second chance opportunities. They let Boston dictate the style of play which as of so far no team has been able to do that this post season against the Pens. Rask made some absurd saves but he also had a couple of post shots. Like Xajii said 9 times out of 10 those shots are going in. Pens didn't play their best against a hot team that was able to maintain their momentum through the long break. I expect that we'll see the Pens tighten up in game 2. First time the Pens started off a series this year with a loss. This might be the slap in the face they need to find that extra gear. Nice to see the animosity showing up already. That will make it an even more entertaining series. I'm just happy Jagr didn't score lol.
Nobody got robbd by the net, the Bruins had a couple of post hits too. It was basically even.
Crosby got stuffed, plain and simple. Great defensive stickwork, as long as Chara doesn't keep doing that cute shit behind the net anyway...
This game was lost because the Penguins lost their composure as a team, nothing more. Once you take the Penguins off their game and make them turn into the dirty pieces of shit we all know they can be, they're basically mailing it in. Sad that the leadership brought in at the trade deadline apparently can't prevent that from happening, or turn it around.
