I don't think it was dirty, I think he just missed trying to slash his arm a little and accidentally caught him in the face.

His body language afterward and him checking on Carter IMO it was just a big swing and a miss.

There haven't been many PP goals in any series I've been paying attention to. Sharks got a few against the lolnucks, I think Boston and Toronto each had a couple, and I think Ottawa had a few against Montreal. Beyond that the PK seems to be far and away more successful than the PP for most teams.

Edit: The PK% for all four remaining teams is over 80%, with Boston being the lowest at 83%.

Double edit: Yes, the Hawks are uber on the PK. They kill off 95% of their penalties.
