I've never had an issue with the frequency of injuries, but the length sometimes does seem to be a little ridiculous. Still, the NHL franchise is EASILY the best video game around. You're missing out if you're skipping over it every year because of something as minute as that.

NHL game is awesome but MLB The Show is the best sports game imo. I don't like baseball anywhere near as much as hockey but The Show is the best.

It sucks that Carter got busted up and had to get stitches, but to be fair he started being a jerk first, cross checked Keith then slashed down on his bare hand as he tried to skate off and get his glove. Clearly he meant to hit him in the shoulder, missed, oh well. Carter still shoulda got something for the slash, like 2 mins. Whatever, we'll be ok without Keith for one game.

they were both going at it down by the goal and imo, Carter didn't look like he was trying to slash Keith or hit his glove and regardless, he didn't hit his hand at all. Carter was looking at the play ahead and moved to go around Keith as he stopped to grab the glove, Carter simply kept his stick down and happened to tap the glove with it but at no point does he ever look at or aim at the glove, unless he has some really fucking amazing peripheral vision.

Like I said, I think Keith thought the same, that he was trying to slash him but it didn't look like it to me and reacted and screwed up. I don't think Keith should have been suspended though, for what looked like a clear accident. The NHL Wheel O Justice at it again, if you are going to suspend players for stupid accidental mistakes, you should suspend them for clearly intentional dirty hits, like Rene Bourque's elbow to an OTT player.
